Watched this the first thing this morning, what a fine way to start my day.. I would truly like to take a walk through the wood with you, I also see the small things. One of my favorites is to look closely at moss, if you look closely it looks like a tiny forest , and perhaps to those much smaller than us it is🧚🧚♀️🍁❤️🎩

I am so sorry that you had to experience such hardship to somthing so meaningful to you! A truly horrible feeling I empathize with you greatly and am sending healing energy your way! A developer in my hometown wants to destroy a part of mature forest with tree averaging 100+ years and a brook that feeds into a protected river and the wells of the people. The community banned together to stop it but they keep pushing it back a month even after the science and people have showed they don't want it. The brook is the brook of my childhood home and that of my mothers childhood and my grandfather's to see it destroyed would break my heart. May we save the planet one step at a time. Sending blessings and love - Ryan

Now there are condos housing tracks strip malls. Trees are gone. But on our property we have planted many trees 🌲🌳and plants 🌱 To me even the weeds have pretty blooms. The killing of a tree is a horrible thing. And that it is for the greater good of the forest in simply not true. They say that here too. Left to it self the forest and its inhabitants would live their full circles of life a a natural way. This is a huge problem in my country. Not to mention what the mining companies do...so sad. They cut and destroy your soul... our soul. 😢 I send you love and strengh. We all can heal the forest. The souls of the forests and woods here in Germany are almost dead. They aren't happy anymore. It is so sad. 😟😢🌱🌳💚 But with love, the help of Cernunnos and other deitys, we can heal our world. Thank you! 💚💚

Hi Alwyn, I was so close to crying as I watched this beautiful video! I found you via Instagram and saw you have a KZbin channel, so had to subscribe! I have always been a nature lover, and always hugging trees and thanking them. I am 2 years Pagan now, but haven't quite chosen a path, as I have Celtic blood from my Dad's side of the family, but I am interested in Norse Paganism too. Looking forward to watching more of your videos and Instagram posts! With love, Tony ❤ Blessed Be X

It bothers me terribly when there’s iS deforestation😥😢 I live in the woods and my neighbors started cutting down all their trees and it caused me much anxiety. There’s a beautiful book I read my daughter Autumn as a child called “Whisper From The Woods” I wish everyone felt as YoU and I dO about things .But I continue to plant and let the woods grow all around us so all of the animals .birds, insects congregates in our yard. I love to think of our property as a safe haven for any creature who needs refuge, sustenance and a home because we humans are the interlopers we need to learn to live in tandem with nature 🌱🌿🌳🌲🍃🍀🌦🌈

Beautiful video, I love your enchanted woods, and understand your upset, I'm like that here too, there's a little lane where I live and the landowner recently razed the hedgerow to the ground even the mature trees 🌳 😔 but mother earth will try her hardest to replace those lost and lovely people like yourself Alwyn will help her, blessings x

I am so sorry 😭 I know what its like to lose the woods you love so much. The woods I grew up in were taken all away for a pretentious neighborhood. Quite grotesque cookie cutter homes took the place of beautiful trees 💜 I hope they are only cutting the trees that are in danger of falling or diseased in your forest . Sending you love 💜💜💜

Ohh I'm so sorry Kathy that sounds awful 😭😢 I really hate the new homes being build too, they are so badly made... Part of me wonders why they don't use the trees they cut down in the first place to help make the string sturdy structure of a home!!! Thankfully I feel the wood is only getting matinence done but I was destrot yesterday when one of my favourite places within was unrecognisable 😔💚💚💚 lots of love 💚💚💚

A similar thing happened at the woods I visit. I was worried they had taken down my healing tree but fortunately, I was able to find it. I feel your pain. Beautiful video as always.

Ohh that's so great you still had your tree. I feel your pain, yesterday I ran to my favourite tree to find phew it was still okay, I then went to my favourite path to walk down surrounded by trees and I honestly couldn't find the path, it was unrecognisable, so sad 😢🌱🌿🌳💚 lots of love to you 💚🌳✨

Hello, my dear! The text intro to this video made me cry, just as I do whenever I see people spray pesticides or cut down my precious green friends. I believe Mother Nature knows exactly how to care for herself and it is human ignorance & arrogance that attempt to "improve" upon a situation that causes more problems. Since we are having so many fires where I live, the forestry service thinks it's a good idea to thin the trees and have everyone scrape their yards clean. I don't remember if it was this channel or another, but someone I saw showed off the book The Hidden Life of Trees, which I believe everyone should be required to read in school and beyond. Thinning live trees breaks open the strong canopy that keeps out excessive aggressive elements such as strong heat and hail or snow to protect the undergrowth. Underground, huge networks of mycelium (the unseen part of fungus) connect to the roots of all trees and other plant-life & allow them to communicate with each other about threats to their safety regarding pests, amongst other things, like sending and receiving food to themselves and nearby trees in need, such as their children or sick or already-cut-down trees. Thinning the trees weakens the entire grove and makes disease and death far more likely. It exposes young trees and more tender plants that can easily be destroyed to extreme weather by too much heat or harsh rain, hail or snow, let alone average sun that will dry up the forest floor too easily. Then, they scrape the grounds, not allowing the nutrient-dense flora to decay and feed the Earth naturally. It is just what humans have done to each other. Divided each other, and therefore, weakened them all. They cut trees to reduce risk of fire, but they overall weaken the remaining population of trees and their gift of carbon reduction. Unsustainable practices abound with humans and I truly hope the younger generations come to realize that Mother Earth must be worked WITH, not against, to best serve her and all of her inhabitants. I also recommend looking into regenerative agriculture, if you're not familiar with that. According to a post on regenerationinternation.org: "The loss of the world’s fertile soil and biodiversity, along with the loss of indigenous seeds and knowledge, pose a mortal threat to our future survival. According to soil scientists, at current rates of soil destruction (i.e. decarbonization, erosion, desertification, chemical pollution), within 50 years we will not only suffer serious damage to public health due to a qualitatively degraded food supply characterized by diminished nutrition and loss of important trace minerals, but we will literally no longer have enough arable topsoil to feed ourselves. Without protecting and regenerating the soil on our 4 billion acres of cultivated farmland, 8 billion acres of pastureland, and 10 billion acres of forest land, it will be impossible to feed the world, keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius, or halt the loss of biodiversity." Much love to you. Continue what you're doing and have a blessed day, Pagan sister. p.s. I wrote you an email you may be interested in, but if not, no worries. Be well!

this is how i feel when i have to cut a tree for liability purposes . people upset to have trees around them because a tree might fall on their fence, etc. i have a small little forest (i call that after seeing your channel) and love it. but have to think of my neighbors due to them not like having trees around. .
