This device is very practical but it cannot beat the IGLA system, however, the use of both together must frustrate the hell out of the thief’s spirit! You could also install a kill switch, which is the poor man IGLA. If installed well it is a deterrent. Some people install a switch that kills the gas pump, so in some cases, the car will start and then die about 10 seconds later, oh what a bummer! However, the best deterrent, 10 years in jail, minimum with no possibility of parole !

Actually the best anti theft device is a fuel pump relay kill switch. Im shocked people arent doing this already. Costs $80 to get it professionally installed and even advanced thieves will need a significant amount of time to solve that.

On your key fob, press and hold the lock button and simultaneously press the unlock button twice. You’ll see the electronic key indicator-a small light in the top corner of the key fob-flash four times to confirm the fob has been turned off. Press any button on the fob to reactivate it.

I noticed this great tip. The problem is doing that each time consistently and you loose the ability to have a truly keyless experience where you have to grab the key and press a button for it’s in your bag or purse or whatever.

Hahaha the IGLA system is awesome but it’s expensive as hell compared to this (10X) and requires professional installation. So for those people who can’t fork that kind of money up this is a great solution!

The thing is, a lot of car thefts happen at shopping malls, where we're constantly coming and going. Security systems like this seem useless in those situations. It feels like they're only designed for people who park their cars at home overnight.

What happens when the key is not moving for 3 minutes within the vehicule? Locking itself when not started or key error when on the move?

Vehicles don’t lock themselves in. When a key isn’t detected, very few vehicles automatically lock, and there is a setting you can adjust. When the vehicles is moving, the fob is moving, secure fob is moving so it will keep the fob active 🤘

That is lot an issue, the car does not look for a signal every second while driving as frequently. I have never had an issue with it while idling either at a gas station or anywhere. It just works seamlessly.

Thanks again for the awesome things you find. Since this works when there is no movement, I suppose this is only good when you get home. If you go to the mall, and you are walking around, that is movement? Correct? Or am I confused?

Anytime love finding these things and sharing them with you all! Yes, so if you’re at a mall, for example, it’s going to be active if it fits in your purse. But if you’re at home and it’s stationary, it will deactivate. Basically anywhere that it’s not moving after three minutes it will deactivate.

You’re definitely paying for the convenience, but honestly, it was worth every penny to me. The faraday box was a little bit annoying, and if you’re not using it, you’re basically losing your protection. I’ll even admit once in a blue moon I forgot to put my keys in there. With this device you no longer have to think about it anymore.
