Thanks, in part module you can draw the part in your desired position from the beginning. In assembly module you can transfer the part to your desired position.

hello sir, when testing a single element how much displacement has to be applied. suppose i am taking a element of 0.5 mm x0.5 mm x 0.5 mm how much displacement has to be applied.

It is better to start from small strain to check your UMAT for the first time i. e. strain = 0.01. In continue after initial checking the UMAT, if you want to model plastic or damage of the material you should apply strain based on the tensile test results of the material. In some cases strain is a few percent but in some cases even more than 100%.

I am getting "there is zero force everywhere in the model" the model is not converging. what might cause the error?

Please check your model by using simple elastic material of the software. If your problem was solved the problem is your UMAT.

Please check the following: Does your CAE model work well with available materials e.g. linear elastic material of Abaqus. If so the problem is not from your CAE model and check that: You have installed required software correctly. Your subroutine has no problem.
