11:30 "Jumping over mailboxes and ceramic demonic heads." Those heads are actually from the statue of Jebediah Springfield, the one in the very center of town. In Season 1 Bart cuts the head off the statue and it practically haunts him the rest of the episode as the entire town is pissed at him for it. It's probably the only thing in the dream overworld that makes sense.

Growing up I was to poor to afford games. My mom would take me to blockbuster every weekend if I was good all week. Every time I would rent the same game, the Legend of Zelda OoT. In order to make sure I would get the same cart I marked a red dot on it and hid it inside the store somewhere.

Bart's nightmare isn't a terrible game at all. Now make no mistake, it totally was not a good game ether. Once you were able to figure out how to play the game. Mini games and the streets world. It would become much easier to play and mildly enjoy. I give the game a 5.5 to 6 out of 10. Not a bad game. But it wasn't easy at all for first timers, and the ending did kinda suck. At least if you did get an A- or better. You would cause Lisa simpson to be surprised.

Just saying... You were playing the game entirely wrong, that's why you had a bad time with it. Don't just sprint to the pages ... Get a few easy Z's first (which are always present when you transition from a dream back into the overworld), because they don't start throwing tons of obstacles at you until you've been in the overworld for a while. Also, you should avoid (not jump over) anything that doesn't give you Z's. And in Bartzilla, the game lets you cancel your eye lasers if you spam it (like you were doing in the gameplay)... In fact you can cancel any attack if you press a button before it hits something... Which will cause you to get hit. Trust me, I got to a point where I wouldn't take a hit until the last 15-20 seconds of the level, which by that point , you can't absorb enough damage to lose. And in the 2nd phase, I noticed that you weren't using the side railing to avoid Marge-era. The way the damage is calculated is that you fall one additional floor each time you get hit... You should be able to get through the entirety of that part without taking a hit. Honestly the only levels that are hard are the Bart-iana Jones levels and the 2nd Itchy and Scratchy level. I had this game when it came out, and while it took me the longest to beat out of all the games I had (besides Drakken)... It ultimately became the easiest game I had. But you have to play it the way it wants to be played, with no exceptions room for creativity in your approach.

I bought this from blockbuster on discount. Played the living shit out of it but only managed to get a C. That Indianana Jones level is brutal. Also never let go of fire extinguisher in itchy scratchy level.. Glad to see someone got an A. And A+ to boot now I have closure. Don't put on skiners suit or you'll walk slow as shit. And evey time you jump over green dude's or smash saxophone a page came up. Such a hard but interesting game

Man, Blockbusters. I remember as a kid there being one 15 minutes away from my house and always went there whenever I got pocket money from my nan to rent a game. It sucks that Blockbuster isn't a thing no more, it would be nice to have it come back. It was definitely handy to be able to rent a game, to see if you like it. I guess that's what the internet is for now, so you can see gameplay of a game you want or watch a review of it. I still think renting a game and experiencing it yourself is better though. Unless you can still rent games somehow?

In the itchy and scratchy levels in the simpson's house, there is a paddle that is the best for combat. Every other weapon is just bait when you can cheese the enemies from their large vertical hitbox. Just aim from "above" them.
