I think that they should still adopt, since they were already in the midst of completing their application! It would also be nice to see a straight couple adopt a kid and give one of the SimCity orphans a better life.

I agree! I considered having them adopt anyway, but I didn't want two babies at once if I could help it. BUT, I'm sure either this family or the Burbs will be adopting another child once they get older and can't have any more of their own (and their bio kids don't need them as much anymore). :)

I’m really hoping they still decide to adopt as well, they are such a stable family with a good income so it’d be nice for them to take another child in and give them a good home, plus it’ll introduce some more varied genetics to the neighbourhood. And they’d have 3 children which would help towards Lucy’s LTW. ☺️

I was kind of hoping they'd adopt and then find out they were pregnant right after, lol. But I'm so happy they're having another baby! The house looks so good! :D I don't know Maxis was thinking with that hall layout, but I'm glad you managed to fix it.

I love that Lucy is getting back into writing! I feel like that adds a lot of dimension to her character and makes a lot of sense for a secondary knowledge sim. Also Kerry is just the cutest stinkiest dog I love her

It's been 3 years since I played in Pleasantview, so naturally I forgot how much the upstairs of this house sucks. But your renovations make it much better.

It does suck! But yeah, expanding the hallway and taking out some extra doors really helped. I don't know why Maxis thought every single bathroom needed two doors!

I agree with the others that it will still be nice for them to adopt, especially when we look at Lucy's LTW. (And also William Goth is a snack and a half :O :D) But it turns out that ACR was helpful, lol.

I agree too! I think this family would be perfect for adoption. Lucy is already older than most other family Sims having their second child because of her infertility. So, I'm really hoping they can adopt in the future. :)

I think they should still adopt a child, not a baby, since Lucy does have the lifetime want to send three kids to college and it adds more kids to one of the generations. Unless it's twins, then there's no point. lol Fingers crossed for a girl.

Agreed! I think this family and/or The Burbs will definitely be adopting a child in the future. I want more adoptions in Pleasantview too, and these loving, stable families are perfect for it. I have a mod that allows a pet and child Sim to share the bed and sleep together. It is so adorable. I can see that for Casper & Kerry. Oh! And please let them adopt too. I think they need $3,000 to adopt, but if I remember correctly, you have an adoption mod, so maybe that doesn't apply to your guys.

Oh, I love the sound of that mod! I'll have to look for it. And yes, I have the adopt in poverty mod (or something like that), so it won't cost them anything to adopt. The timing wasn't right for them this time, but I'm sure Lucy will want to adopt later on. :)

I installed them in my bin, but I think I need to add a downloads folder and put them in that for it to even show up as custom? But even then, I think I will have to figure out how to replace the defaults. It's my problem and not anyone else's, though, but I think these eyes are so clean and subtle.

I wonder if maybe the reason Alex and Lucy have had such a hard time conceiving is that Lucy suffered a miscarriage after Casper's birth. Just a thought but that may be to dark for you

Hi! Sorry, there's no where to buy the Ultimate Collection anymore. It was available through Origin from 2014 - 2018. You can either buy all the individual discs on eBay or download the bootleg version.

Does adopting fill the have a baby want? In my game Alexander and Dina are married (she never had children w Mortimer) and they had a set a of twins! But Dina just aged into an elder and Alexander wants another baby. I was thinking about adopting or maybe waiting till Dina is gone.

I think the pretty skins and eyes were better. Like you said, it updates them. But that's okay these skins are ok
