Most of the builds haven't been updated since 2014 so i get that they're bad hah, but idk they always make the builds bad and I'm glad because I can work on my own choices and renovate them. A little bit annoying if u just wanna play in live mode most of the time. And TS3 building that you've checked is just apt complex which is super creative! Also You look so good with red lipstick sending love and I hope u will be healthy soon! 💗💖💝

@@alexx5516 I do enjoy the remodeling too. It's nice to have a structure to work with already and just tweak it a bit. When I build brand new, I usually look on Google images for the type of house I want and then just copy it from there. Because I'll build something, spend a bunch of time on it. Feel proud.... Then go on like Instagram or something and see what everyone else has been building and instantly I'm like "okay 👏 my house is trash...." Lol And thank you, Alex! 🩷 The joys of working in healthcare. I get sick often 🫠 lol

@@LunarsimmerYT Thank you! 😊 Hey! I see you did a video renovating TS4 roomie house? I'm intrigued! I'll definitely be giving that a watch. My brain was melting trying to figure out a different layout for that place. lol I'm interested in seeing your improvements. 😊

Well, there were no swimming pools in The Sims 4 base game at launch. And since they haven't updated any of those houses in over a decade, they still look as sad as they did when the game was released. The Sims 3 feels like a more coherent experience. But they got too carried away with the Create-A-Style tool in the Landgraab mansion. There were waaaay too many textures and colors. But at least it was more *interesting* than what they did in TS4.

@@NawiTheCore Omg all the colours and different textures and patterns... It's A LOT. However, I do appreciate the depth of the textures. TS4 is seriously lacking in that department. I wish they could find a happy middle ground though. It's either too many options and it's overwhelming. Or in TS4, they keep milking the fact that they are limited options to the packs so that you have to keep buying more packs if you want options.... It's irritating lol And I didn't play TS4 when it first came out. I didn't know they didn't have pools in the base game when it launched. So this makes a lot more sense now. That's wild! They had it in TS3. Why wouldn't they have released it with the ability to build pools? This company.... Lol

The Sims 3 Roomies house looks lot like the kinds of houses that are being built in my area. My husband calls them Dr. Seuss houses. The floating walls in some of the builds really don't bother me. The room dividers that come in Sims 3 look sloppy and cheap, and having a TV in the middle of the room without a wall behind it bothers me because I don't know where they plug the TV in, so a floating TV wall kind of makes sense to me. Also, in Sims 3 you need so much room around archways that it often makes furnishing rooms with archways complicated, so I often chose a floating wall, but I cap the ends with columns. I think big windows in bathrooms is ridiculous and highly impractical. The bathroom is not a place I would like to be on display. I prefer the Sims 3 game, so I might not be the most impartial person, but the floorplans overall make more sense in the Sims 3 houses. Great video. Thanks.

@@judialbert1349 "Dr Seuss houses" lol! That's a lot faster of a description. 😂 And you know, the pillars at the sides of the wall I feel would make all the difference. There's just something so strange to me about a plain wall being out in the middle of a room. But pillars at the sides would at least dress it up a bit. And yeah, halfway through my rant about having a TV stand I thought about how crappy the back would look. But then my brain just couldn't make sense of the layout of the house and how to fix that. I'm all for a TV on a wall. But in my head, the wall is attached to other walls. Lol My boyfriend said I was pushing anti modern propaganda... 😂 Modern is fine. I just don't find it "homey". I like the uncluttered feel. But too much open space just feels more like a store type of vibe, rather than somewhere you would live. And the brutalist situation. When I looked up images online, a lot of it was actually really quite nice. I just think they did a terrible job executing it in TS4 in that house. But of course, I didn't look up the pictures until I started editing. 🤦♀️

@@GG_JoJo Yeah, I loath the brutalist style. Brutal is a good word for it. To me it doesn't feel "friendly or cozy" at all. A lot of the big houses in Sims builds have rooms that are simply too big. Why have a mansion with two gigantic bedrooms when you could have four reasonably sized ones? In some builds I have even managed to carve out reasonable bedrooms out of wasted hallway space.

@@judialbert1349 I will say one positive thing about TS4 and building though. It definitely has its glitches, don't get me wrong. But I find it far easier to build and "remodel" houses in TS4 vs TS3. I think TS3 has way nicer pre built houses. But trying to build or even remodel a house in TS3 has nearly driven me to insanity. lol! And agreed about the brutalist style. Although I did discover that I don't hate it as completely as I thought I did. In real life, some of the designs are actually quite beautiful. More "artsy" than homey, though for sure.
