Yes, Get Together Clubs are extremely useful for getting any sort of group together and making them function, much better than the NAPS even if there are some bugs in them (like I think there was or is some bug with adding cleaning and repairing to a group gathering.) Need help doing some of the aspirations that require more Sims? CLUBS! Good for Yoga, good for Socialization, good for finding partners, good for hanging out, good for study groups, good for hobbies, haha good for some dubious ethical practices. The only downside is not every pack's hobbies were remembered when it comes to clubs but a LOT of them have been!

@@iwakeupandboomimarat Because the Base Game is free now, I think they just wanted to help anyone who finally decided to give it a chance. A LOT of people get into the latest iteration much later in its lifespan or after it's no longer releasing new packs and being free to play will absolutely bring in even more people who just wanted to dabble in it or try it out but didn't want to pay money for it even during the extreme sales EA would have where it was like five or ten bucks. And if those people enjoy it and get the hang of it, stick around, they're more likely to eventually buy a pack or two at any price, but especially during one of the sales. I suspect they wanted these prepped before Christmas so those people could also add edit: some packs to their wishlist for the holidays.

As a Canadian I LOVE having thanksgiving in October. Gives a larger break between the big holiday meals of thanksgiving and Christmas and it allows you to get into the Christmas spirit as soon as Halloween is over (with the exception of Remembrance Day). A Tip while customising a Sim, is to use Casclockspeed 0, which will pause Create a Sim's Timer, some Occult specific Audio Files will still play from time to time, but it is far less frequent (I also made a Mod for myself to lessen the Frequency, unlike Others, I DO Still want Werewolves, Vampires and Spellcasters to Howl, Hiss or Flourish, but Not as often as they do), and Pausing the timer can make painting them easier (Also pets if you have Cats and Dogs)

Yeah! There's actually research that links subspace to having a Runner's High or meditating, literally limiting the frontal lobe while increasing sensory capability/endorphins. Dom is basically Flow State. Ultimate Turning Your Brain Off Entertainment combined with Ultimate In the Moment Productivity! Which also explains why fewer women/femme presenting may be dommes: cultural norms and emotional labor. Those two things make them question their own competence with them taking charge being frowned upon or criticized outside of certain traditional roles (yes, even though more women have jobs now than in the past) and if they have to engage a lot of mental activity in their relationships without being appreciated for it then the domme idea might seem less desirable for those reasons. This is also probably why more men/masc presenting end up being doms or switches; expectations combined with ignorance for some of them (edit: that subbing can be fun, also could just be hard to get someone to dom), but not all of course. And even more relaxed BDSM groups sometimes playing into traditional roles if they and their partners seem more straight presenting, perhaps to be taken more seriously by the mainstream I guess. Edit: not that straight couples can't engage in some less traditional roles in bed hahaha. And for example, peg gin g can be completely straight or gay or pan or whatever! So can any other form of s e x, it just takes some creativity and desire. And Note: I'm not suggesting everyone is traditional or would be. I'm simply offering a sudden realized hypothesis for what is a common trend although it explains why a lot of people want to be subs in general; turn your brain off, get pleasure. (And top and bottom are about who is active. Dom and sub are about who has the control.) But hey, no matter what the sexuality, genders, kinks, or anything else, as long as it's a safe and consensual scene between partners, it's just a good time. Cults on the other hand are still bad IRL because they take advantage of other people and it's very easy for them to hide in plain sight if they have no overt religious connections/connotations so people should still be careful of those and it's easier to end up in a cult by accident than people might think (no matter how smart you are.) MLMs (lol not the LGBTQA+++ group but the supposed capitalism meaning) often have cult vibes and tactics; most pyramid schemes do. Obviously in the Sims people enjoy some things with dubious ethics lol it's for playing out stories as well as venting from everyday life, which can include "misbehaving" in a safe space that doesn't actually harm anyone. Disclosure: I often like to read the comments first and because of the wrong closed captions I stayed down here long enough to see this and respond to it so forgive me if anything I said was already brought up by Plumbella. Also, you probably already know some or all of this but I wanted to expand on what you said and add some theories. Second edit: I also had the thought that people with less traditional desires and states of being may find it harder to integrate into social spaces to find what they're looking for so there's that as well, even within a less typical IRL group. It's just harder to feel accepted and also to find one another and being less common these people are also less likely to be available unless they have a more open relationship. That kind of thing happens a lot, I bet. The struggles are real even when online spaces can help sometimes. haha sorry I don't know if you were up for such a lengthy discussion. My brain tends towards being over-analytical at the drop of a hat.

I actually agree that the last playthrough looked more fun!! Ironically, high school years is one of my favorite packs ever, and werewolves was the biggest disappointment for me! Werewolves do require more effort to play, have them in a pack and it's very demanding, wanting you to explore, fill the pack resources, spar with other werewolves, it's like a full time job lol! So I've been playing with Rory (forgot her last name) and had her marry Lou Howell, and they have three kids now, the first not dominant wolf gene, named Luna as I really thought she would be lol, second does (Lucian) and he arwoo'd from a baby lol, the third also has the dominant wolf gene. But I had Luna go swimming on a full moon and she is now a werewolf, I love the skills, pacify werewolves is very handy, Rory did it with Luna as she couldn't control herself at all and was rampaging in the house and the tunnel digging to move around the world is brilliant lol! Get Together, I play with sometimes if I have them join clubs, but sometimes you're just too busy for that lol! I thought it was Growing together at first as you got the kid lol, I'm surprised Get Together is that highly rated lol! Little campers is fun, but I've not really had it in too many houdeholds as it takes up room, I'm thinking I may utilise it more for social areas in the new expansion! 😊 This was hilarious to watch though, ferocious intimidation is fun to do on anyone lol! 😂
