By now I highly doubt that the sims team would put any effort into implementing new personality systems and definitely not just for a game pack. I bet the likes/dislikes are going to be random or maybe based on the colours of their clothes and nothing else. But I think the changes to the rooms of a household will probably stay when reloading the lot. It would be kinda stupid otherwise and I don't think that it's too complicated to make program-wise. Basically you only need to temporarily activate buildbuy-mode...

From an American: Toaster ovens are great! It’s like a mini oven that doesn’t heat up the house and have to be pre-heated. Mini pizza, mozzarella sticks, jalepeno poppers etc.. and it makes leftovers edible unlike a microwave. Apparently this is a passion of mine😂

“Countertop oven” is a close enough description; you can cook things using a timer as you would with a toaster, or set it to a temperature to cook like an oven. In regard to the “why not just use a toaster” question: because you can toast things in it flat, unlike a toaster. In my household, it primarily gets used to reheat food one would like to be crispy, as microwaves make foods soggy.

Stick the microwave over the mini-fridge, your toaster oven on top of that, and then stick a hotplate on the counter and you've got a (very tiny) but mostly functional kitchen.

Toaster oven answer here: I use it to reheat things that were cooked in an oven. For example, pizza! I like the crust to still be crispy and a microwave will make it soggy. Literally anything you would use an oven for but more “single serving” size. It’s great so you don’t have to turn on the whole oven for something small!

@@AlexaFaie Nope it's because it always says that and has for a while. I'm trans and don't appreciate this kind of accusation being thrown around when there clearly is no evidence for it. Ive played the Sims for years and The Sims brand itself is attached to "crude humor" for their older games. Though Sims 4 is more lightened compared to past games, it's still apart of their brand and you can 'Woohoo' or basically smoke hooka and get drunk in the game, or do things like fight people or walk around nude so they have to put a disclaimer for all their trailers. I bought a physical copy of this disc about 4 years ago and it has the same "Crude humor. Sexual themes. Violence" disclaimer on it as it always has.

@@cablekar The trailers use different warnings depending on what they show though (like it didn't say "sexual themes" in the trailer for the toddler stuff pack, just T for teen). And the only thing which could be even vaguely related to "sexual" themes in the trailer would be that based on what was shown. I've seen enough things class pride flags as being somehow inherently sexual imagery to have felt it was a valid comment to make. Like how a movie featuring a gay couple will often tip the rating to a higher level even if you never see anything happen on screen, but you'll have straight sex scenes get lower ratings. Its in EAs interests to stave off any lawsuits from the rightwingers who would clutch their pearls at the thought of their kid even seeing a pride flag.

Jesse a toaster oven is just a tiny countertop oven, you can make pretty much whatever you put in a oven in it, it's pretty convenient especially if you are making something for one person, and since it is smaller you don't have to wait for the oven to preheat to use the toaster oven.

i just want to add that.. i use my toaster oven as a higher quality microwave.. I use it to reheat things that loose their appeal in the microwave (i actually quite dislike microwaved food).. Like left over pizza, fries, toasted sandwiches, other various leftover meals, it does well with like sandwich patties n stuff too.. just about anything that could be livened up with a bit of a crisp without full out frying it in oil.. while yes most of this stuff could just be done in a regular oven.. toaster ovens get hot faster.. there really isn't much need for the preheat phase that big ovens tend to need.. I also use mine for crafts.. like oven baked clays. These are great gadgets also for dorm rooms, and people like me who live their lives as a hermit and hardly leave their room.. They range from super cheap to super expensive. I have a really cheap one got it for like 25$ new and have had it for like idk 6-7 years maybe

a toaster oven is basically a toaster + a microwave but even better than that! They usually have bake, broil, toast, and grill functions and you can usually set the temperature. Everything comes out so crispy and not cold in the middle. They are truly amazing and I think everyone should throw out their toasters a microwaves for them. I don't know enough about an air fryer but I hear they are similar.

Toaster ovens are great. You can bake and broil in them. I love mine and use it when I'm making things just for me. It saves money and time compared to using the regular oven. 🥰

Toaster ovens are great for when you just want to cook something small that needs to be baked or your stove oven is in use (maybe you want to get a pumpkin pie or some rolls cooking while the turkey is roasting, for example), it's just a small counter top oven. Also very useful in small kitchens or dorms or other places where a big stove won't fit.

Yes a toaster oven is for more than toast, I never have used it for toast actually. It was essential in my first apartment since the oven just heated up the whole place. You can cook anything you would put in an oven, it's just smaller.

Btw toaster ovens are A GOD SEND. I have one and I use it for everything. Cooking frozen nuggets, frozen pizzas, toast, waffles. Basically anytime I dont want to turn the oven on. It's a godsend in the summer. Also where I live I cant really cook so the toaster oven makes life amazing.

You can use a toaster oven for almost anything you can cook in an oven. Many people with small kitchens and no oven have them.
