A well done and very informative presentation, my late father came to Ceylon in the late forties to do his Textile Import Business and married my Sinhalese late mother. He left the country in the early 60s due to the Import Stop policies of the then government. We still remember and love Sri Lanka. Thank you again for this presentation , keep up your good work. How can Dr Careem know so much about all the communities, is he a human or a walking talking computer/library. I am highly impressed by his knowledge. This is divine intervention. God should protect him from all evil eyes and Sri Lanka truly needs scholars like Dr Careem, who is an absolute treasure.

Pls do this episode in sinhalese as well. Because those buggers don't know about history and common sense much.

You need Sinhalese people to have common sense like those religious fanatics who blow up themselves in civilian crowds??It's ok to critisize but it needs to be fair

@@vishwapremarathna9286 if gnaasara and sinhalese mob what had been done in Aluthgama and beruwala were right, then blowing up is also right. If sinhalese did what back in 1983 against Tamil was right. Then mass killing of Monks in Anuradhapura was also right. have I been gone through fair? Isn't it?

The Sindhis are now spread far & wide around the globe & the Sindhis in Sri Lanka marry Sindhis in India & other places. They are generally averse to cross community marriages, maybe to preserve their identity. There were also well known Sindhi Tennis & Table Tennis champions in Sri, Lanka till the 1980s.

Frugality is mistaken for stingyness in SL. Minorities need to be frugal because they naturally face more challenges, in any country.

Congratulations, Both of you doing good job and please to continue . Could please elaborate more about so called sidhi originated from Sanskrit??? . Having said that I really confuse because சிந்து is a Tamil word and Sanskrit is Not spoken in any part of India.. as mother tongue. According to some Indians that Sanskrit brought by decedent of Haroun ( AS) from Middle East ( Israel). It’s Just for my knowledge and not to criticise any one. Thanks

This is VERY hard to follow. Dr. Speaks too fast, mixed with accent and horrible music over the voice drowns the explanation that I was longing to understand. Remove the music and slow down when you are explaining. I’d love to hear this again when redone. I’m glad you are educating the world, but let’s do it right so we can grasp it.
