Жыл бұрын

Serial killing partners Leonard Lake and Charles Ng murdered 11 people in California in the 1980s. They had a secret bunker where they killed their prey. British Hong Kong-born Charles Ng murdered an estimated eleven to twenty-five victims at a remote cabin near Wilseyville, California, in the Sierra Nevada foothills located 150 miles east of San Francisco. Along with accomplice Leonard Lake, the pair formed one of history's most notorious serial killing teams.

It’s so terrible how you don’t know these people. You’re living your life the best way you can and some strangers decide you don’t have the right to live. They insert themselves into your destiny and cause so much pain. Complete strangers! It’s irritating how others can be offended by your right to life and decide to end it.

This horror happened when I was 16 and it terrified me beyond comprehension. I never understood why the Manson murders got so much coverage because this was 10 times worse. I remember meeting Steve Perry of Journey and he offered me two tickets to Mountain Air '86 in Calaveras County. I couldn't go, but all I thought was that's where that happened...

The biggest tragedy of this story is that their victims have been dead for 40+ years but Charles Ng is living it up in prison. If they never plan on executing him than they should commute his sentence to life. Sentences that are not carried out are meaningless.

Most monsters only seem 'a little off' or perhaps slightly more to others around them. One thing i noticed after reading/listening to many killers in interviews over the years is there is no real obvious 'profile' to someone about which stranger or casual friend would be a likely candidate to be a serial killer. If you don't know the back story in detail, you can't really determine who is evil as opposed to who is just a jerk.

I will never understand this system why people on parole and even probation can have officers look over them but a united states soldier get discharged with medical issues/problems and just let go like good luck see ya. Why isnt there someone to check up and look in on and help these guys? I mean they are valuable and been thru hell for the service of our country.not making an excuse for this sick fk but alot of our heros end up dead or homeless or locked up when it could be avoided if they just had someone on them.we have parole officers we have probation officers why not a veterans rehabilitation officer? Ng didn't steal a can of salmon from a supermarket it's a huge anchor department store that still exists; Canadians know it well. It was The Hudson Bay company in downtown Calgary that is still there today. He also stole a bottle of pepsi. Ng was in Calgary bc his sister lived there. The take down took place in the basement of the store (built in 1902) cafeteria at the time (it's since been remodeled but the basement is still accessible) He also shot 2 people, one a security guard (in the hand)who wrote about the incident in his book titled "FORGIVE'NG" it may be called? Anyway...awful people and still I wish the facts were correct. I read a book written by a Calgary historian that notes the above as fact.
