On May 10, Mother's day, 13-year-old was found dead in the woods at the end of a cul-de-sac near her house in St. Johns, Jacksonville, Florida. Aiden Fucci, 14, who grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same private school was arrested. Fucci's arrest went viral after he took a selfie in the backseat of a patrol car flashing a peace sign. Fucci was initially charged with second-degree murder in connection with Bailey's death.

@@robertpalmer4806 totally agreed. Bad parents see their children as an opportunity to get some wealth and fame so they exploit them. @Brandon Rhodes I'm going to ignore your sweeping and laughably false assertion that only the most rich and the most poor are out here committing crimes. The OP's point was that rating someone's morals based on where they live is classist, and she's right. Making poor financial decisions, living in generational poverty, and the multitude of other factors that lead to poverty have zero to do with one's moral code. Conversely, having hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars cannot and *does not* buy you a conscience. Morality and fiscal responsibility are not mutually exclusive. That was a classist comment made by the narrator, and by you as well. Criminals come from a range of backgrounds. Serial killers are almost exclusively middle class. You need to turn off the biased media news and pay closer attention to the demographics in these crime stories.

I know. It really hurts to know that there are so many people out there that think this way. With each generation our youth seem to lose touch with morals and show less or even no empathy for others. And I don't think it's just the parent's fault alone. Our media desensitizes crime and romanticizes a lot of ugly behaviors, teaching kids their justified in wrong doing and giving them a false sense of entitlement. At a certain age, even in the young, it no longer becomes about what the parent tried to teach them alone. Every person either realizes they are causing harm and that they want to stop hurting others, or they have absolutely no empathy and continue on their self-serving path with no remorse. I also think that, while each person has the right to choose their own religion or not to practice all, the decrease in the value of attending church or corruption of churches has further led to youth's lack of morals and compassion.

Also, I know it's such a small thing, but I appreciated the message you gave to Bailey's family in the beginning of the video. I sat next to tristyn. Not even joking. I sat next to her in fifth period; in computer science. I wasn’t exactly friends with her, but I still knew her and we talked from time to time. She was also a class clown and made the class laugh every now and then. I’ll never forget the day when she didn’t come to school. The moment I realized she would never return. To make matters worse, I also knew Aiden. He sat across from me in 7th period, in my English class. Again, I wasn’t really friends with aiden either but I still talked to him at least once a month. I also realized something. I didn’t notice it until tristyn was murdered, but he had no emotion. He would never laugh and always just kept to himself. The day I learned what he did, I couldn’t stand the thought that a murderer sat in front of me.

Wow. I’m so sorry for the loss of Tristyn (even if you weren’t friends), and also sorry you were around such a horribly vicious psychopath. It must not feel real to you! I hope you’ve been able to feel alright and eventually find peace - yourself and your community and especially her parents - what an awful tragedy.

Oh without a doubt, I think Fucci was genuinely surprised he wasn't able to talk his way out of this and fool everyone around him, because that's been the pattern of his life up to now,bet he's never been punished or held accountable for his actions by his mum, she strikes me as the type where it's always the other person's fault and if her little angel did do anything, well it was only because he'd been provoked and left with no other choice whatsoever, even in the back of the cop car, he's telling Bailey to get in touch and he'll probably get in trouble cos of this, all the while knowing she's dead by his hand, he's making it seem like she's somehow hiding out at her friends house, doesn't want to come home cos her parents will be so angry and yeah she's causing all this hassle for him and it's just not fair, maybe I'm wrong but I honestly reckon his mother has made excuses for him all his life, it's never his fault so why would it be any different this time, she grabbed his penis so he just pushed her off and she fell and banged her head, you see if she hadn't done that, none of this would've happened, his parents should be prosecuted not only for their actions after the fact but probably even more so for how they raised him

She wasn't wandering the streets at that time of night just for the sake of it, she had snuck over to a friend's house that evening and Aiden happened to be there too. When she was leaving, if he offered to walk her home why would she say no? She had no reason to think he was dangerous and the community they lived in was seemingly safe.
