So in short. People don't want to play against sweaty players, but they want to be the sweaty player themselves.

Wrong. People don't want to play against sweaty players just because they're even moderately good at the game, just so the game can protect little timmy from being demolished by an adult player. I play cod casually, but because I ak good at the game, it is completely unplayable. I have 1.0 kd in any other cod game, but in this game that means I have endless matches against sweats that ruins it. Thus, I just stopped playing this game.

the way it works is it makes your connection really bad so it forces the game to not use sbmm to find a match rather your ping

@@Buhngothis software doesn’t do that. Some older routers came with “select where you want to find matches” options. This isn’t like that though. It just makes the game *think that you are located somewhere else. You still get into local/low ping lobbies. How it works beyond that… I’m not sure, but I would assume that it makes the algorithm focus more on finding a low ping lobby, instead of one based on skill.

You know I go against good teams and bad teams sometimes and when I go against the bad teams I feel insanely bad cause I’m killing them alot and I don’t like to go against bad teams cause I actually feel quite the opposite of feeling good when I go against a bad team I feel good when I go against a good team and do really good but other wise it’s been pretty consistent I’m not getting to many sweaty lobby’s

At some points when playing mwlll and bo6 I get placed with people that are beyong my skill and there are points where i don't play how they play but then still get placed in there.

To summarize pretty much every SBMM complaint: It's bad because if you stop trying to win, you won't be able to win; Until the system reassesses your skill and puts you against more appropriate players. It's not just not fun; But at the same time it's designed to keep you playing for as long as possible. It's not that I just want to play against easier players; Anyway, here's how to get into easier lobbies where you can dominate like a GOD.

Its kinda bad to say but i get around this by playing with my friends who are a lot worse than i am. Most lobbies will be competitive for them which are super easy for me, then every now and then itll override and give us a CDL lobby of pros and my friends will do so poorly itll put us back to regular lobbies

I was doing really well in every match. Usually hitting 1.5 - 2 k/d. Then i realized EVERYONE in the lobby was the exact same. Literally no one below a 1.0. Well, at least I'm having fun despite the artificial k/d. The games have been very consistent though and not the 3 super hard games, 3 super easy games, rinse, repeat.

the better you are the worse it is. If you're bad you dont feel the sbmm but if you're really good it's not exaggerated at all.

@@EntretuGaming Well I can enjoy the game because I can make the decisions that determine how well I play, and not the game making those decisions for me. And then when the matchmaking does feel a bit janky, I could immediately stop playing to discourage the Engagement part of the SBMM.

Sbmm is good. People just want to play vs poor timmy with no thumbs just so they can feel better about themselves. And please, don't be like one of those "When I was a kid, I got shit on in my lobbies cause I was bad, so now that I am older and more skilled, I am entitled to shit on others" people. Just cause you got shit on doesn't mean you are allowed to shit on others. Back then when there was no sbmm, good player encounters were few and far between, but now the average player is skilled. Just look at what happend when Xdefiant advertised itself as "sbmm free". People thought it would be heaven for skilled players, but noooo.... The "no sbmm" ads only brought the most sweaty players to it, and each one of those players thought they would dominate lobbies. Now, their lobbies are shit and sweaty as usual, AND new and/or unskilled players can't join that game's community due to its steep learning curve. Tldr: sbmm is good.

@justinnnnnn what you said would literally still happen with no sbmm (random lobbies). One lobby, you are doing well and dropping nukes, then the next lobby you are playing vs 5th prestige.

@ lol sure about that? It would happen yes But not to this extent. Not to this degree You can’t even get more than 10 kills before the next one you’re going up against cdl wannabes that haven’t played anything else but cod for the past week

@@malm7arbthe difference is with sbmm you are legit guaranteed to match against sweats while with connection it’s a slight chance

SBMM in MW2 and MW3 was so bad I would play well in 1 or 2 games and get stomped for at least 3 games. If you think SBMM is good play for an hour and keep track of how many wins/losses you get. Also think about if you are actually having any fun.
