Since she decided not to finish the season, they have done everything they possibly could to make sure they lost. It was classic tanking. Limiting minutes of better players, making up fake injuries and illnesses so players didn't play, etc. It was so transparent it's silly. But don't kid yourself, they were 11-23 with her and lost 7 in a row. She might have changed the way they played but she wasn't changing the outcome of those games. You did see her lose the Aces game with HORRIBLE defense, right? I know you Reese fans like to call everyone a "hater" that points out the truth, cause that's all you got, but at some point you're gonna have to face reality.

There are other words to describe people like that but we don't need to get into that because I'm confident it doesn't apply here. As far as "tanking" goes, while it's typically used to describe a team who might lose on purpose for a specific gain, it's also often used for a team that loses on purpose, for other reasons. If it makes you feel better, we can say "they lost on purpose" but I use "tanking" because it was done for a specific purpose. I'm not going to waste my time explaining in detail how or why to someone who doesn't want to hear it, but I assure you it was for the specific benefit of a certain player or players. And, yes, it was purposeful because there's no way a coach and/or organization could make so many horrible personnel decisions unless it was intentional "my guy".

Granted the Sky suffered from the injury bug but the bigger issue was the fact that the team has a toxic chemistry and a very sub par bench. They tried the twin towers thing and it hasn’t worked because Angel Reese can’t shoot. They need a complete rebuild.

Hilarious but on another channel that’s VERY pro Reese they were crying that Indiana and Liberty were fixing it these last games to keep Sky out of playoffs. They are unbelievable if you see the replies if you do not agree with their opinions. Talk about vitriol and hate. They were saying Swoopes being attacked and all Swoopes is doing is speaking the truth so I mentioned that she straight up lied about Clark - proven (25 years old/40 shots a game and 5 years to break record) and never admitted or apologized. Also Reese proven to lie in multiple occasions like when video came out of them coming off the bus when they claimed they were harassed and it was one guy with his phone calmly politely asking Carter if she had spoken to Clark after she cross checked her. They immediately accused me of cyber harassing them and did NOTHING to address the truth.

What is Weatherspoon's contract like? I bet they'll chalk this year's poor performance up to injuries and give her another year, but if they have a bad start next season, I bet she gets fired by the all-star game. I think she's on the bubble even now because of the team's clear chemistry issues throughout the season (maybe not entirely her fault, but I had the impression she wasn't up to task to managing a lot of very strong personalities in that locker room). Either way, she definitely has her work cut out for her next season. It would be fun to see the Sky pick up some talent and come out of the gates next season hungry and mean with something to prove.

Awww, did it hurt your felling's? I'm on record stating MONTHS AGO that Sky isn't making the playoffs with Reece in play. She can't shoot, dribble, block, or pass. The team was being told to give it to brick layer barbie and it cost them multiple games. CARDOSA would have put them in the playoffs. She has way better stats, same height, and can do all the things that Reece only dreams of doing. Just ask yourself, why did Lynx pass on Reece along with other teams? She can't PLAY.

Yes they lost 7 games in a row with Angel..but they also didn't have there leading scorer in Chennedy Carter for at least half those games and we know shes not in an offensive player..so don't put it all on Reese..or say they would've lost anyway if Reese was playing. The team had alot of injuries including Kamilla being out the first 7 games they just couldn't stay healthy..and it still came down to the last day.

Since the break, Fever and Caitlin fans have been ecstatic because while Caitlin was setting league and rookie records and the Fever became one of the hotest teams in the league with the #6 seed in the playoffs, the Sky crashed and burned ending up as the worst team in the league (haha). And now just a couple of weeks after Angel Reese quit on her team, she gets to sit on the couch with her mild wrist sprain and cheer on Caitlin, the rightful ROTY and face of the league, as they battle the Connecticut Sun.
