Hi Antonio, this is such an amazing location, it's not hard to imagine all of the miners busy at work and the noise of all of the machinery going. That incline is an absolute beast and an awesome feat of engineering, I wonder how many man hours it took to construct it ??. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💖

Hi Tony, what an awesome mine ive never seen anything like it. You could spend years filming there then still miss bits. Its overwhelming to try & film everything while talking in the camera & trying to stay safe. Huge respect to you & everyone for a fantastic mini series. ❤😊👍

Thanks Carol for your kind Comments !🙋🏻♂️🙏🏼 yes it’s a lot to coordinate with talking / filming and watching for your safety ‘, I feel I need to slow myself down , one mistake in there could be fatal !

Would it ever be possible to explore the Woodhead Tunnels? There are 3 tunnrels going under the Pennines, one built in the 1830s, one in the 1850s, and one in the 1950s. Sadly all three are closed and never intended to be used again. I think they are totally sealed off. I searched the internet but cannot find any pictures of the inside.

Yes they would make for a great explore and film !👌🏼🎥 and yes I believe they are sealed up !

At 20.41 "The loaded cars go down and pull the empty cars up" .. Why would loaded cars go down?....when loaded cars come up under normal circumstances . Unless of course its an external incline such as a hilltop quarry or mine where trucks go down loaded and bring up the empty ones ... just an observation thats all .
