@shreddeddad what do you think would be the problem if I can't get the treadmill to move easily without feeling like it's stuck? I have no resistance on the machine, and I can't get it to work with my hands just on the uprights like you've shown here. Instead, I need to be in a full sled position with my hands much lower to even get the treadmill to move. I've tried tightening and loosening the belt as well. Can you do farmers walks or carries on the tread? Or do you need a pushing anchor
@ShreddedDad18 күн бұрын
You need something to create counter force. I’ve done them with sandbags where the front of the bags touch the SledTred Another way I use it is by tying a sled strap around my waist and connecting it to an upright so it creates counterforce and I can use the SledTred hands free

@ShreddedDad5 ай бұрын
I don’t but I can shoot something quick when I get a chance Send me a DM on Instagram (@dadshredded) and I can show you It’s supposed to mimic 300 lbs of resistance which is not hard if you get low since you can throw your bodyweight into it Using it at a higher angle makes it harder (more legs, less bodyweight) I use it mainly for long distance sled pushes on the hardest setting and sprints on the lowest setting

@ShreddedDad8 ай бұрын
You can’t go hands free like a regular treadmill. This is a manual treadmill that requires a little bit of counter force to get it moving
@yangtroy16 ай бұрын
Do you think this is a legitimate alternative to a sled? And do u remember if the hip thrust attachment was just as good as using a bench?
@ShreddedDad6 ай бұрын
The treadmill is rated at 300 lbs of resistance so if you do more than that then it wouldn’t be a good option for you I use it more for distance when using the sled And yeah the hip thrust pad feels good
@letsgobrandon4165 ай бұрын
My concern with this device is that I'm unsure if the max resistance is enough. "300lb" is hard to quantify with sleds. Pushing a 300lb sled can be easy or impossible depending on the surface. Right now I'm using 245lb up a road with a slight grade on a wood sled with TrekDek skids. I need something I can do indoors in the winter or when it's otherwise undesirable to be outside training. This looks like the ticket, but I don't want to drop nearly $1k to find out it's "easy"
@ShreddedDad5 ай бұрын
I find it challenging when using it for long distances It also depends on how you use it If you get low and throw your bodyweight into it then it feels easier than if you were to grab it higher where you have less leverage and you use more legs than bodyweight
@letsgobrandon4165 ай бұрын
@@ShreddedDad can you define long distance? I find that beyond 25 yards I'm not really building strength/muscle anymore, just endurance
@jon.a9 ай бұрын
How difficult is the max setting for the average gym goer?
@ShreddedDad9 ай бұрын
It’s supposed to mimic 300 lbs on a sled. It all depends on how you set up. If you set up high it feels very difficult but if you get low, it doesn’t feel too hard because you put your weight into it. When I get low I use it more for long distances

I would like to have had some comments on the quality of the rolling fabric that your tear with shoes.. is it long lasting, or will it break down, with any spareparts, for the eu customor, who once payed a good amount for shipment, and two years later, it needs replaced. I know its perhaps not something to have knowledge on, but this is neverthe less what comes to me, because this piece is first and foremost indoor sled training. Also, the nordic curl footage, shows, the treamill kinda slide backwards as you go up, so it seems counter productive, and i wonder if the exercise can even actually work properly then, with multible reps… thanks for review.. i was looking for it.

@norbertchristianbarrientos11328 ай бұрын
Fyi, careful of the pull knobs, caveat, you may not be able to detach it as easily as in the video if you threaded it until it holds on to the bar, it makes the outer thread of the pull knob stick out of the holders ring/platform, so, it wont slide as easy if you dont loosen or align it back first

@ShreddedDad8 ай бұрын
You gotta pull the cable until it reaches the other end so that it’s taught. Pull it hard, you right break it. For the other flywheel, pull hard sideways then slide the pin back or forward
