Great work on the GPU+CPU test charts. Most real world test case.

Excelent work my friend. Excelent work! If 10% of the reviewers would be like you, most ppl would be educated. Sadly most reviewers.....do unboxings..... and/or never understand how products works. Again, Excelent job!.

I've heard that when using the larger coolers in this case, using the rear fan as an intake helps quite a bit, especially with the FE GPUs and even moreso with the acrylic side panels. That way the CPU cooler is acting like a wind tunnel, then the top fan is exhausting all the hot air instead of some of that hot air going through the CPU cooler and out the back. I want to say I read that somewhere from a Sliger employee testing this case prior to release but I could be wrong. Either way, great video, love Sliger cases too!

Yes- that’s how it is setup for testing with the FE card- in fact most cases will benefit from this type of setup where the cooler can be close to the rear of the case.

@@MachinesMore Hi man, I have a Lian Li TU 150 and a DP4. Since I do not have a top exhasut area, do you think that anyway putting a rear fan as INtake would help? I'm not using any rear fan right now since the DP4 is too close to the rear, but what do you think of trying try to put an Intake slim fan in the rear? in case of doing this I shuold put the front fan as an exhaust?. Thanks in advance!

Honestly one of the nicest things about this is seeming the top plate of the Dark Rock Pro 4 taken off, see it mentioned so little and does make that middle fan quite a lot easier (comparably)

great videos - do you mind commenting on how you connected all the extra fans to the mother board. Do you use simple splitter cables devided between the cpu and fan header? or an extra powered fan hub unit?

Thank you.

given the PSU position, rails etc it seems like that ‘top exhaust’ is not officially supported, instead those top rails are designed for 2 side by side case fans. That said, it kinda works as you show!

I have this case since a week round about and wanted to add something for the cpu cooling and fan options: - you can mount the NH D-15s in a bottom to top configuration (with low profile RAM like the corsair vengance lpx) - with this way you can mount a slim fan above to the NH D-15s, than the 140mm fan with the clips in the middle and another slim fan with the other clips at the bottom of the cpu cooler block (means between the cooler block and the gpu) - in addition an rear slim fan is possible too. So you can mount up to 8 fans in total in this case (2 fans at the case bottom (gpu depended), 1 infront of the psu, 1 besides the psu, 1 slim at the rear, 1 slim at the top and 2 at the NH D-15 with the clips).

I'd love to have noise samples from the testing - for a lot of users not only the noise level, but also the noise profile ist important. (e.g. for me, the P12 Slim has a much more pleasant noise profile than the A12x15)
@MachinesMore3 жыл бұрын
Agree there- the Noctua slimcan be perceived as having a more noticeable noise pattern vs the Arctic slim.

You are my kinda person very detail oriented and intricate too. Great graphs and info. Bravo. Are you going to get ssupd case? it looks epic.

You can run 2 fans on the D15S, just use a 120 on the front tower. This case seems like optimal thermals would be achieved with a 280 Rad

This case looks and design are very nice. I almost purchased this, but decided to go with the NR200 due to prices these days. Plan is to go fairly modest with this build and give to a grand kid in a year or so, then go all out on a top build for myself.

you did your test at certain noise levels, do you by chance know how much better the temps would be if you let the d15 and d15s go full tilt?

I switch from DRP4 to Eisbaer Aurora 280 it can handle 10600k @5Ghz and 2070S in loop. In gaming funs run up to 1200rpm (still reasonably quiet), water had 45C and gpu run under 60C

I’m interested in this case however my GPU is slightly bigger. You think that cutting a hole in the front panel similar to that of the nr200 how allow me to fit in a 3090 suprim, 335mm card? I know it fits in the NR200, but I would like to fit a noctua d15 and get a handle.

I currently run a drp4 in my h200, it was a challenge to get in but it's great. Having just upgraded to a b550 board from msi though, the socket is about 10mm higher which has meant I needed to go with a slim top fan instead from noctua. Is this higher socket position your experience too then? Thanks

Do you have any idea why U12A performs worse than D15S? The rating of U12A is higher than D15S according to Noctua
@ibadriba3 жыл бұрын
Very important caveat: the NH-D15s will be in conflict with the side bracket as the heat pipes are situated in an unfortunate position and extend to high. You have to bend the cooler down quite a bit to mount the side bracket!

I just discovered this case exist. Of chi post after I just finished ordering a TU150 because I was intrigued by an ITX case that could for a Noctua D15. That ok as it's less than had the price, but this case just made my sorry list for cases.

DRP4 seems smaller than D15s. Does anybody know whether the DRP4 allows for a regular 25mm fan on the rear panel for intake?
