Absolutely! I'm from the UK, where as a kid (~50 years ago) I was terrified of loose dogs on the street, but I guess they weren't so much strays as pets out for a walk alone. Here in Japan, dogs are required to be chained up or leashed, so if we see a loose dog it's sure to be a lost pet. But cats are a different problem.. In the mountains (which cover most of Japan) you can sometimes find packs of feral dogs.

sloths are lovable but they will defend themselves. i always wanted one but you cant keep them if you cant take care of them they need to be free. just sweet and gentle and stay to themselves its cute and wonderful to see the people in the rainforest help them across the roads in the rainy seasons.

At first I thought they were baby gowns, but they are actually bandages they put on the sloths. They had some type of mite infestation in their fur so the staff had to shave of their fur, slather some type of balm on the skin, and finally wrap them in the bandages so the baby sloths couldn't lick the balm off.
