Very well put together our discussions. Looking forward to our meeting in Malaysia next week. And will wait for folks to express their interest through the link so we can hit the ground running once we have sufficient interest. Thanks for helping our WHEEL Slow Travel take shaoe

I think it's super important that travelers keep away from hostiles. Friendly folks are always better.

Very cleverly worded and executed. Maybe have tossed around the same idea but “travel wheel” is such a clear concept thanks for articulating. It will be fun to see other affordable travel wheels in Europe or South America or anywhere! Thanks again!

Well I’ve done with slow travel, for me it’s better to have a base, been living in the Pattaya area for 4 years now. Been to all the countries I’ve ever wanted to go. Still love to travel, but just short trips to other destinations in Thailand and nearby countries. It’s great to come back to Homebase with everyday comforts and seeing friends I made and clubs I’ve joined. That’s not possible if you keep going to different parts of the world!

Slow travel is also used for new people to see multiple places before picking their favorite base. That is how you find the right base you are talking about.

One of the benefits of slow travel is less visa runs and watching the calender to do them. Although, that money saved will go towards travel expenses to next country. How do you get the cheapest flights from Argentina to Thailand or vice versa?

Use Google Flights: it will show a calendar of rates/ this is not where you book your flight but can find the best possible rates.

Is there a good resource somewhere where I can compare countries by seasons? I don't want to spend any time somewhere during rainy season. I have found websites that show annual rainfall of individual locations, but I haven't found one where you can easily compare them.

I have spent a lot of time there and love it. But it feels a little too westernized for me these days. But it is still an amazing place especially for new people coming to Thailand, or digital nomads.
