Cool story. It gets me thinking, a bar or dining establishment for multiple species would probably be a pretty interesting place. One mans psychoactive would be another mans poison. All the seating positions would probably need to have some manner of bio analysis equipment to determine basic facts about each organisms biochemistry. There would probably need to be quarantine zones to separate species whose biomass/excretions etc are toxic to others. Everything would need to be clearly labeled as to avoid poisoning anyone and bar/dining etiquette would probably develop around safety with biochemicals suitable only for consumption by certain classes of species….or, maybe I’m overthinking it.

I don't know why when a lot of the stories I heard always mentioned how strong earth's gravity was compared to other planets.
@neosildrake2 жыл бұрын
I think gravity is linked to the mass of a object. The higher/denser the mass compared to the size/surface of the planet, the higher the gravity on said planet. According go science, proto earth in its formative stage collided with another forming planetary body and both were kind of destroyed in the process, leading to the heavier matter/elements congealing together in what became earth and a lot of the lighter stuff that was flung farther away by the collision created the moon, while others was dispersed to be drawn in by the gravity of the sun. So it isn't unreasonable to think of earth having higher gravity than it normally would have, as it had the hevier elements of two planetary bodies. Venus, as a planet closer to the sun would automatically gather more dense/heavy material than earth. And it shows as Venus as equivalent gravity to earth when compared to mass and size. On the other hand Mars has just a bit more than half the size of earth, but has only slighly more than 1/3 of earth gravity. I am not ghat good at physics or astronomy, but I think it might be reasonable o think that earth has maybe 1/5 or 1/4 higher gravity than it should have considering size and location within the solar system. Maybe I'm wrong. It's nevertheless an interesting idea.
@beingsneaky2 жыл бұрын
