For all the "smart" features on the front end they get a "worst design ever" for the backend implementation. First off this is not a wifi lock. It's a Bluetooth lock and requires a plugin dongle be installed within 5' of the lock at all times for remote access. The setup is poorly described, light colors and frequency are wrong in the setup steps. If you bang on the system QA style for long enough you can get it to work. It does not provide any ability to remotely reset the lock. From a STR perspective this is a TERRIBLE lock system. The UI is complicated and counter intuitive. I would say 10% of guests have a flawless access, where some people take longer than 15mins to gain access to the property. Ring door bell verified over a 5 month period. Support is a joke, they send you an email, but their server blocks responses to the email. The only way to follow up with support tickets is to use their app support feature. Which doesn't work. They ask you to upload documentation via the app support but it has unreasonably low data upload limits. This lock is a DO NOT BUY item for STR.
