Jose Mourinho when he was managing Inter Milan, he had no other strikers (others where injured) available in this champions league clash and only had Balotelli. He got a yellow card in the 42nd minute and when it was half time he (Mourinho) spent 14 minutes of the 15 telling Balotelli about not getting sent off, telling him not to touch anyone, not to react when he loses the ball, don’t react if the ref makes a poor decision or when someone provokes him. He was then sent off in the 46th minute.

I have the story about Balotelli’s car accident. Balotelli crashed his Audi, and my dad (police officer) went to the scene. Balotelli claimed that his English wasn’t good, so a waiter from a nearby Italian restaurant came to help translate what balotelli says to my dad. So Mario starts saying stuff, “giving a statement”. Then balotelli said “bistecca”... which my dad thought was strange as it is ‘steak’ in Italian. Unbeknownst to my dad, Mario was ordering food from the Italian restaurant the waiter was from!!! Then after the game on the following Saturday, Mario had an interview with Sky and spoke perfect English... There’s only one, Balotelli!,!

I'm a Cheltenham Town fan. Towards the end of Rory Delap's career, he played against Cheltenham for Burton Albion. Burton got a throw-in near me and Delap grabbed the ball, pressed himself up against the advertising board, and prepared to perform one of his trademark throws. A fan next to me calmly said to him "Rory?" and he turned around and said "Yeah?" "You aren't as good as you were at Stoke." Rory Delap gritted his teeth and gave the angriest throw in I have ever seen, sailing right over the Cheltenham box and out of play. I died laughing.

Re: Rory Delap....I remember teams resorting to moving their advertising hoardings closer to the pitch when they were playing Stoke to stop Delap getting a decent run up. Also, for away games he used to have a piece of towel sewn in the inside of his shirt to dry the ball off.
