This is one of the most powerful songs I've heard in a long time. It highlights the affects of abuse so perfectly, and as someone with PTSD because of assault, it hits straight into me. Every lyric is something that I've experienced and I can not believe that I haven't heard of this band until now. Thank you to The Sonder Bombs for showing vulnerability and emotion, it truly sets you apart.

Genuinely. It's one of the most emotionally poignant songs I'm ever heard. I've gone through trauma of my own and this song touches something inside me even though mine wasn't sexual.

Gotta love when you find a new song you like and based on it’s vibe you think to yourself “I bet there’s an audiotree performance” and lo and behold...

havent been able to stop listening to this song since i came across it a month or so ago. So powerful. The challenges of growing up and having to face the harsh realities of the many evils that exist. It reminds me of the doubt brought to me about my mental health growing up. Growing up insecure, afraid, and depressed from 8 years old to recently as a 21-year-old navigating my own emotions in relation to my experiences. When the song mentions being the saddest kid ever, as if you've accepted it at age 14, which i had to do, then still having to pretend like it's okay because nobody believes you. Then following mentioning knowing someone you love is also reaching a rock bottom at that same time, not being strong enough to help them since you can't help yourself. I still feel bad for not being a better friend and for not doing more. She seems like shes made it through, I just lost touch at one point when i was lost in my own little darkness as a kid. I truly love this performance, I've cried listening to those powerful moments of raw emotion by the singer, so seeing this live performance it hit so hard especially when the singer began to choke over the words of their own trauma. I hope the band the best journey, and will make sure to see a live show !

As someone who’s experienced sexual assault this song puts that feeling of it being just “the way it goes” so perfectly and as a musician who wants to cover this song I don’t think I’ll ever be able to without bursting into tears and I have so much respect for willow for being able to get through this song and performance much better than I ever could
