One of the major themes of the show was that although we glamorize organized crime, it is actually disgusting. The women of the show exemplify that idea. Although they may at first glance appear "hot" after a while you see they wear too much make up, make their hair too big and have serious personality flaws. You see they are in reality unattractive, just like the organized crime itself. The Sopranos was a counterpoint to all previous works that glamorized the life.

@@purplesword4394 Another thing that I'll add, is that, like so many people caught up in that lifestyle, when they get nabbed by the Feds, all of a sudden, they start talking about things that are associated with the Mob lifestyle. Adriana knew way too much, but apparently she thought that she could talk her way out of legal troubles, become a snitch, and get away with it. Well...we see just how wrong she was. Until Silvio pulled off the Highway, and into a "Nice little private spot", out in the woods, and then blasted her into oblivion, she had no clue...not even the slightest inkling, that Death wasn't "Coming for her". It was already there, in the form of Silvio. I'm surprised that he didn't bury her with a Rat stuffed in her mouth... like Silvio did with Jimmy Altieri!

Wilbert Arenas no, she works for a major wholesale company or furniture store as their book keeper. The scam works like this: Tina takes advantage of the fact that this massive company is apparently lacking in audits and tracking who they owe money to, so she creates fake invoices from “vendors” that supposedly supplied merchandise to the her company. Furthermore, she is the one who would be in charge of the payments since she’s a bookkeeper, so basically the person in charge of the money is corrupt. For example, she could fake an invoice saying her company owes $500 for office supplies. The check is then made by her to pay the fake vendor, and her father cashes the checks at a check cashing spot. A scam like this can go on for years if the accounting team is not really looking for it. If it’s a big enough company they may not even notice the discretionary check amounts ever, so Tina and her father are basically taking advantage of a busy company that is too busy to notice the crumbs they’re stealing from them.
