Quasimodo predicted all this...Bonpensiero was supposed to die as a rat in Season 1, but David Chase didn't realized how popular the character had become and everybody was wondering whatever happened to him! so, with the help of Terence Winter they decided to devote a big part of the story-line to my favorite FBI informer! There was a year-and-a-half break between Seasons 3 & 4... 1st episode of Season 4 had the first opening title sequence without the WTC towers.
