It's not like he was juicing him ridiculously, he owed him a lot of money which eventually he didn't even have to pay back, his debt was forgiven in exchange for his script, he knew what Chris was and used Chris at every opportunity possible then tried to play the friend card ONLY when he owed Chris otherwise he didn't want to know.

It’s actually nice, relatively speaking. JT is still in debt to Chris for tens of thousands of dollars. If JT were to not pay , it’s more beatings for him on top of the heavily compounded interest. I realize that 12-step programs have helped millions of people and that some truly explore the recovery process with open hearts and open minds. However, many of those you meet in recovery are similar to Chris in this scene. They repeat 12-step mantras that they have no intention of following themselves and wear their participation in a program as some sort of morality vest made of teflon. I guess you could argue that if this keeps them sober, that's all that matters but still, it's incredibly sanctimonious and imo, taints all 12-step programs.

chris didn't murder the waiter. he threw a brick at his head and effed him up, but paulie was the one who shot him dead. (who knows, though, the guy probably would have died in a couple of minutes even if paulie hadn't shot him.)

This mad chris likable. .. he's a fellow junkie himself and was quick to give a lending hand... u think paulie or sil would give a fuck to send somebody to rehab first ?
@idclolidk
@idclolidk 8 жыл бұрын
+5280PolotheKid He sends him to rehab for his own benefit, how can you not see that? How would JT pay Chris back if he's addicted to heroin? I think the writers made that pretty clear when JT signs over his car right before going away with his sponsor. I mean they even made the sponsor drive a pretty boring car and Chris roars off in JT's nice car while JT is about to get in a shitbox.

This show is full of common sense advice. Don’t get involved with shady people Don’t gamble, let alone gamble above your head. Don’t turn to substance when you’re kicked down. You’ll need every bit of your wits. Think of Heath Ledger’s Joker and Batman refusing a drink at the same party.

Addiction is real…Christopher should have took over the family as his Arc. When he cleaned up, it would have been perfect, dealing with Ad and his lost, drug addiction, movie writer (side hustle), it was all there. That was a cop out him getting killed by Tony.

Everyone is knocking Chris here but I couldn't imagine what I would do if someone owed me 50k and was trying to not pay me. I'd flip the fuck out over 500$! That's why I have 100$ limit on loaning people money, if they don't pay me back 100$ or less so what fuck it they're not my friends anymore. If someone owed me 5000$ I'd have to do some crazy shit to get my money back that's alot of money but 50g's JT deserved that beating.
