Paulie brings up such a good point. When you are a kid and you know some old ladies, by the time you grow up they are STILL OLD LADIES. It's like they are just put on earth to be OLD LADIES.

No, it just means that everyone seems old to you when you’re a kid. Those women would have been in their 30s when Paulie was a kid. 🙄

My grandmother lives at an assisted living place for about her last 10 years. They're really like this. Like 90% of the residents are women and they can form vicious little cliques, constantly backstabbing and doing mean things to each other.

My mother who passed away was going to go into a retirement community if my father died first (which unfortunately didn’t happen) and would have been interesting if my mother was healthy would she have been an outcast or an in group person. My mother could tell people to fuck off though and be by herself too.

The only thing that bothers me about this episode, is when one of the old ladies gets upset at Paulie's mother at Casino Night. And the old woman yells at Paulie's mother for causing her to lose at a Blackjack Table. Here is what bother's me, why would there be a casino night in a retirement home that costs an arm and a leg to be there? But on top of which, if you watch that scene, there is no real money that they are betting on, is there? Because that to me that is a racket in it of itself, to me this is up there with CGI Livia. But otherwise the episode is great.
