If Tony would have listened to advice once in awhile he'd have been the King of New York. Of course, if Tony listened to advice once in awhile the show would have been incredibly boring so.... 🤷

"You act like butter wouldn't melt in your mouth" is a powerful expression from a series full of them. It's the perfect response to somebody who thinks they're above it all, that their actions won't come back to bite them.

I never understood why they held their big flagship poker event in that crappy motel. I know they got it for free thanks to Tony's stake in the business from the situation with the Get in Season 1, but it's such a dump. You'd think for a premium, high stakes game they'd spring for a classy venue, with the kind of money they were making they'd still be well in profit and it might attract even bigger high rollers.

Montenegro mentioned. My country. And yes, thats true. DPS was part and still part of car and cigarette smugglings. Even police knws and theyrein their pockets. Having blnd eyes n criminals. Milo Djukanovic and his party has connections with Italian mafia.

As soon as Chris says “But we’re already in the 21st Century though, T”, Tony has a momentary look of “I may have made a big mistake” on his face.

Silvio saying that "he's known Tony since he was a kid". We always assumed that meant that Silvio and Tony were about the same age. But we learned in Many Saints of Newark that Silvio is older than Tony. Silvio never said he grew up with Tony, just saying that he knew Tony when he was a kid.

This was genius writing. Johnny becomes boss and all of sudden meetings like this aren’t dignified lol. All off sudden he doesn’t care to negotiate. This guys ego went through the roof. He definitely was setting up Tony when he asked him to kill Carmine SR
