When skip mentioned how Tony wanted to kill his mom and how junior wanted to kill tony he didn't know the whole story. Tony wanted to kill his mom because she along with Junior tried to have him killed not to mention the fact that Olivia is a sneaky, conniving, evil woman. And Junior tried to whack Tony because he wrongly thought Tony was trying to whack him.

@Jericho Jimmy does 3 things which leads to the evidence he was a rat. #1.When he was arrested and let go he said there was no finger print person there so he got out faster. #2.He asked for a meeting to go over things they talked about already and Tony said he was wearing a wire and JR agreed with Tony. #3.When Sil accused Jimmy of it before he killed him Jimmy didnt deny it.Chris even said he didnt have time to wear his wire "put on anything decent" #1. Seems even more bullshit because the FBI called him by his first name when they entered. #2.To ask for a meeting to discuss things they already talked about would be really odd behavior for a mobster unless he had some health reason or was old. #3.Jimmy had enough time to deny and you would think he would of even more if he wasnt a rat.

Many fans just don't like the fact of his character bossing and manipulating Pussy to get Tony, so subconsciously they are looking for anything negative about him even if it is not there. Just look at how some commentators are bashing the character about his lisp, even though every other character in this show have a lisp or bad pronunciation.

No no. Jimmy Altieri was also a rat. So this is what happens... Both Jimmy and Pussy are arrested by the cops and both are forced to turn informants. Jimmy first gets bailed out and goes to Tony's house and makes small talk with him. After that talk, Tony starts suspecting Jimmy to be a rat. On the other hand, a corrupt cop gives information to Tony that Pussy may be a rat. But Tony thinks he has Jimmy confused for Pussy. So both were rats. Hope this helps 👍

killertim101 to be honest there are a few theories but a lot of people believe this.. Tony was the only one who accused Jimmy of being a rat, everyone else just went along with it. Tony didn't want to believe his best friend was a rat, his impulsiveness and the fact that Jimmy was asking questions out of line suggests that he was trying to get information from Tony on record BUT does that mean the feds automatically? How do we know ow he wasn't working with New York and trying to get Tony to confirm details for one reason or another. Adriana - confirmed rat we saw her with her handlers. Raymond Curto - confirmed rat we saw him with his handlers. Eugene Pontecorvo - confirmed rat, saw him with his handlers Pussy - confirmed rat... You see where I'm going with this now? Jimmy didn't have a handler because he wasn't a rat. If you're a Sopranos fan you'll know the way Chase writes the show and when you consider the big deal made about Tony's sociopathical behaviour it's obvious to me that Jimmy was just the wrong fat fuck in the wrong place etc Tony's impulsive behaviour was on show here, that and the fact he refused to believe Pussy would flip made him finger Jimmy. And as a footnote, by saying that he may ha e been working with New York I'm only using it as an example. We had no more proof that he flipped than we do that he was working for someone else so go figure.
