Determination? What are you talking about? Most slaves stayed right where they were until Lincoln freed them (which you wouldn't think would've been very efficacious to begin with given that he was calling for the emancipation of slaves in a region that had declared its independence from the United States and thus, his authority) and in the north, they remained enslaved even after that, and like most of them, most people in the United States are in the final stages of surrendering the last vestiges of freedom in exchange for promises of security and benefits.
@Tsadi9Mem9Khet98 жыл бұрын
Kbholla No, they didn't wait to die, they nearly all lived on the plantations because that's what most of them thought they were supposed to do, just like so many obey the ever more corrupt and socialist system because most are born followers who will do whatever the shepherd propagates amongst the flock. It is very ironic that the only reason for the fact that slavery in America along with the control over women and gays that masculine men used to exert are made to appear so demonically wrong is to propagate their influence making it unthinkable that anyone would again seek to control them, and this to create chaos to eventually bring forth a tremendously more complete and thorough and invasive worldwide slave state in which all would be enslaved aside from a small group of "owners".

Thing is people like you are so removed from the society that you hate so much you have no idea what its about. I bet you get most of your news from very specific news websites or news outlets and put anything outside of your narrative as propaganda. I also assume that you stick to small social group or community and have little real interactions outsiders of this. This is how this paranoid delusional thought develops. The sad thing is I assume you probably read a lot of online publications so I'm not gonna call you stupid, though I am in a way. Because what you said is kinda ridicules, if you actually think about it. If I were you, and this is a subject that you're really interested in, read some peer reviewed academic journals.
@Tsadi9Mem9Khet97 жыл бұрын
Tlahuicole barrraz Who are you responding to? Regardless, to suggest that anyone take any "peer reviewed academic journals" seriously is reflective of a born-follower incredibly ignorant and stupid mentality, though you "think" the opposite. You see, most people, being born followers, just like the majority of members of most mammalian species, do not think independently, and thus follow whatever direction the herd is moving in, and furthermore, they suppress anything which defies that. The problem is that the usurper subhuman cocksucking psychopathic filth responsible for the existence of this world system, and the academic community specifically, are usurpers of the role of leader of the herd. They are shepherds or ranchers as opposed to rams and bulls, and they have no vested interest in the well-being of the flock or herd, but only in using them to carry out their own agenda.

As much as Tony was a "Traditionalist" of his Italian culture & his strict policy on his dealings with African-Americans or any other culture outside his race going no further than business related matters, Tony respected this man because not only was he from his father's era, but he represented the "old school" tradition of how people carried themselves in his time when he was a child. People held true value in themselves, not to forget, Tony was a huge fan of history/history of war, considering his profession & all. So when he saw that this man fought in WW II, any "racial reservations" Tony had were gone. Truth be told, had Tony not been in the "Waste Management" business, I think 💭 Tony would've at least had a few friends, African American & otherwise (still maybe not as accepting to Meadow & AJ marrying outside their race) .
@Gaboxxy963 жыл бұрын
He also got along fine with that other educated black guy in the whole housing scheme deal, and with the preacher. At the end of the day, deep down Tony was an individualist to the core and therefore didn’t really care about a person’s race or beliefs. But at the same time he grew up in an enviroment in which you are expected to stay within your group, even excluding other white ethnic groups. In the end he was more prejudiced than he was truly racist.

Tony is a corrupted character, if he was a young person with different parents and raised in different times I think he wouldn't be racist. He has that front due to his business and black people being a useful scapegoat for the mafia, but he probably despises the KKK types. I believe that after he admitted he doesn't really care about Vito being gay. People who didn't grew up with the show and who are just discovering The Sopranos have no concept what that meant in the late 90s / early 2000s, it was a bit ahead of the curve, considering his culture and associates.

@trevmac83628 жыл бұрын
+Craig L in order to authenticate any scene you are going to have normal house hold products around.Coke has been around for 100 years and is the most popular soft drink so it's safe to assume the product could easily be in one's home..I highly doubt HBO and the producer/directer would say "Hey we need to get that coke product in there' and risk the integrity of a ground breaking show..What's next? The Porches Carmella drove or the Mercedes that Gloria Trillo drove?
@fullbag508 жыл бұрын
+Trev Mac - Trev, I agree with you. The law of averages says this to be true. That being said, you have to know it is product placement when seen in a show or movie, because there would be a lawsuit if an agreement had NOT been considered ahead of time. In short, Coca-Cola paid for their visibility in this episode.
@trevmac83628 жыл бұрын

+Trev Mac I know it to be true only because Coca-Cola would have to sign consent to be depicted in the show or The Sopranos/HBO would face a lawsuit. HBO is not going to sign a no-profit consent to Coca-Cola when they could offer similar rights for tens of thousands of dollars to Welch's, Sunkist, Nehi or Crush (all of which make grape soda, and would be a reasonable if not racist soda of choice a black man would offer a guest.)

That's the thing about Tony, he's a conditioned racist. He knows stereotypes and slurs because that's just what he grew up hearing from others. But then all of a sudden you meet him cordially, speak to him man to man, and he can't help but respect you. Maybe even like you regardless of race.

by getting up and leaving, Tony decided to give his son a pass, out of respect for his father, even though it was only a brief conversation, Tony was able to quickly surmise what this man may had been through in his life, and killing his only son due to a small transgression would be unworthy of this great man.

He had a business deal with his son. He cut him in on the extra money he stiffed from the union, because his son set-up the work stoppage in the first place.

But how often do you see anyone wasting time on KZbin? If you see someone on their phone or laptop typing away, do you check up close if they're using any slurs? Isn't that awkward to do? Problem here: whites and asians are actually *the* least racist people on earth. USA, Germany, South Korea, Japan... which black countries can compete with them? These countries are unmatched in economic power and liberal values. If you're a minority like black or muslim you can even get above equal treatment in some of these countries. Blacks are overrepresented in American film and media, while asians are underrepresented. And not just in the states; look at British Christmas ads where, no exaggeration, every single coupling is white female black male. The strongest black economies are probably South Africa and Nigeria. Liberal values like anti-racism and equality simply aren't present there- in South Africa the white minority is under actual threat of extinction. Neighboring Zimbabwe long ago kicked their whites off the farms, and that country is shit, non-competitive, just underwent a regime change and will long deal with insane inflation and corruption Asia is paradise in comparison. Most of those countries are 95%+ homogenous, there isn't even any racism to judge there. Liberal democrats define racism as systemized, oppressive power- they say only whites can be racist. This idea was part of Hillary Clinton's campaign for the presidency. So a person in China with an opinion on blacks cannot even be racist since he has no majority or influence or advantage here in the states. There isn't even anything racist in this video comment section right here. This is nothing compared to what one might find on black twitter or world star, where anti-white hatred can get tens or even hundreds of thousands of people "liking" or "retweeting" it. Easy cherrypick

+Koen Guenevere are you serious! so I guess Asians only get racist when I get to the Americas and follow black people around the stores and stuff like that! yeah Europeans have a lot of economic power because they still a lot of the land that they go in conquer

Italian Americans and black people have and had similarities in their history and culture. The preacher's age and the respect Tony has for him due to it made him take off the blinders of racism and color. If he never had his prejudice towards blacks, he would've probably gotten along well with them

@@juannaym8488definitely, as half Italian and half Nigerian, I was curious about Italian history in the United States, as I already know quite a lot about the struggles and tribulations of African Americans. I think it’s important to know of the disgusting treatment Italians and Irish received when they came to the states in the early 20th century. It’s crazy, at a time, Italians weren’t even considered white, and that led to their dehumanization. I wish Tony could’ve understood that, but dude was a selfish POS.

Tony didn't care about this guy's skin color. He respected him because he was a WW2 veteran and all the racism disappeared. Tony was old school and respected veterans.
