I like that concept with Aries but I’d like to see him come back merges to Lucifer from darksiders there’s so many things Aries was going to do that we didn’t see happen since kratos went all god slayer mode I’d love to see those ideas in the lit like Athena why she so quite what she been doing

Are’s is the only one(aside from Zeus) who felt “god like”. The other gods went down far easier and didn’t pose as much a challenge for Kratos. Ares performed feats that felt like something a god would do. Throwing a giant spike halfway across Greece with pin point accuracy to impale Kratos because he felt like it(which showed he could have stopped Kratos whenever he pleased....just toying with him). Playing mind games, causing hallucinations etc. Kratos slapped the other gods around like they were annoyances in God of War III. The manual did say however that Kratos was getting more powerful with each battle and Zeus feared that he could he could become dangerous. So im guessing his power had increased significantly by the time of God of War III.

Another reason why many of the Gods died so easily in God of War III, was due to what preceded their death: - Poseidon: after a gruelling battle with Kratos, he got punched squarely by a Titan in the chest of his water form but by the looks of it, when Kratos throws him against the rocks, the punch really damaged his body, which isn't that unusual seeing how he was just hit by a God. - Hades: His body died when his soul was removed by his own claws, weapons he used to steal the soul of Cronos. - Helios: Before his beheading he was crushed in the hand of Perses, a Titan. Only Hephaestus, Hera and Hermes died rather easily, without suffering significant damage before or have their soul removed prior to their death. With Hermes you could say that being crushed beneath the statue did wounded him significantly (and he was always a lesser god) and with Hephaestus, the beating he received from Zeus might have done him almost in. I mean, Atreus could harm Modi with ease after the latter was beaten up by Thor. Also, with the end of God of War III, we know that he was able to kill Gods ever since he opened Pandora's Box, so this allowed him to be a lot more efficient when it came to god killing.

SPOILER WARNING: Okay so one of my theories is that Kratos will die in his fight with Thor, but it will happen when Atreus is older. I think this is how Jormungandr is born from the wrath of Atreus after seeing his father killed. After I do believe that his mother’s ashes play a huge role in resurrecting the dead giants. However, i don’t believe they will activate until Atreus is older and ready to lead the siege on Asgard. I think Atreus will also follow the path of GOW2 in which he will travel to the past to save Kratos from being killed. I think time travel is going to be very important, but more so in the sense of Einstein’s theory of relativity more than just going back in time. I think Atreus will learn how to manipulate time in a way where he can save his father. Just a theory

Ares soul kinda sounds like how after Zeus and Athena died they ascended into ghost like forms so it could be the same thing but he is trapped somehow and kratos says that Zeus is unaware of that camber so it is likely it is still there. Just speculation but wouldn’t it be cool if Kratos and Atreus travel to Greece to get the help of ares to defeat the Norse gods and ares in his ascended form takes the role of Surtr the fire giant that leads the charge in destroying Asgard. I have a theory that Kratos was never born in Sparta, he was born the bastard son of a shunned woman who had to escaped to Sparta for a new life, Kratos also mentions in GoW (2018) when he shares a drink of Lemnian wine with his son, he states that Lemnos was an Island near the place of his birth, Sparta is pretty far off from Lemnos, is it possible Kratos was born nearer to Athens seeing as Athena seems to watch over him his entire life, from convincing the Gods that Deimos was the Marked Warrior so she could spare Kratos to Forseeing Ares’ death years in advance by placing a giant sword as a bridge, to Aiding him in toppling Olympus. I can expand way more into this but what I’m getting at is: Is there a chance Athena made Zeus plant Kratos as another bastard child of his and manipulated the events of his life for her own gain only to have it all backfire in the last few moments?

And yes the chances that Magni and Modi's soul getting trapped in a secret place with Ares soul, a place that is only mentioned if you call an 800 number, is probably about as high as me be the starting QB of the Super Bowl winning football team. However, we don't know why Magni didn't comeback, even Mimir thought was strange, so Kaptain threw out a theory about that secret and I thought if they were ever going to bring it up again in a game, why not have their souls trapped there too? Even though I know it is extremely unlikely that it would happen, this is a way that they incorporate the place again.

Even if Ares does come back to life it will probably require kraits or the Norse gods to discover the secret chamber. But orators will have the upper hand as he already knows where it is and he could probably manipulate ares. This would give him a great advantage if tyr is introduced. Kraatos will have three god of wars on his team : himself tyr and ares

I have a question, so why in gow 3 pandora died touching pandora’s box causing it explosion but at the end kratos said it was empty, was it really empty ? How did kratos defeated zeus with the power of hope if zeus already took his first pandora power as an eagle in gow 2 when he sucked all his power and put it in the big status ? I’m confused as hell that my question is hard to understand

Super Warrior Man Kratos had gotten the power of hope in gow 2 when he was a full fledged god and his most powerful form in the franchise he just didn’t use it until he killed Zeus in gow 3

He got his powers back when facing Zeus at the end of GOWII, when he absorbed the power from Zeus's hand with the Blade of Olympus.

I personally still hold it as canon because there's nothing that contradicts it, even though the story was never picked up again. Although, if you read the God of War comics set between Ghost of Sparta and God of War II, the followers of Ares attempt to use the Ambrosia of Asclepius to resurrect him. On one of the comic book covers it shows a disembodied Ares, his form made entirely out of fire, implying it is his soul we are seeing. While areas never appears in the pages of the comics themselves, I believe this is an indication that the soul of Ares imprisoned on Olympus came into play somehow. Had the writers explored the story more (which it's not too late to do), it is possible that the followers of Ares somehow obtained his soul from Olympus and were attempting to resurrect his body.

what if that is why kratos was destroying Athens, to make it so more people believe/worship him than Athena, he would then be more powerful than athena, he kills her and collects/traps her soul and with the power he would have having 2 god souls (his own and athenas) he would be able to start killing off the less powerful gods and working his way up to Zeus
