What a beast of a game, takes true dedication to develop a guitarlearning game of this sort. Creating something that the world have never seen before. Seems like an awesome workstaff. Have not played the game for too long, but it seems like a giant leap from the original Rocksmith.

It's such an interesting process to see how a game like this is made. The amount of work it takes to not only properly chart the song but to also get the tone to sound exactly like it does on the record seems insane. Kudos to the team.

Incredible. I got Rocksmith earlier this year and have played it almost every day religiously for hours and hours after work and on weekends. This is by far the greatest investment I have ever made in my life. I couldn't even tell you how many songs I've learnt and memorised in the past 9 months. I've picked up most of the scales and a fair few chords. I'm starting to expand a little and stumble upon songs that already exist, just by messing around on the guitar. Thanks so much for this!

Very impressive!!! You guys have dream jobs and share the dream with us. My experience of RS: I bought the first Rocksmith, then bought a fender strat, and soon an ibanez bass. International Artist (only in the game) with both a year after. Thanks !! You rock!!

Picked up 2012 nearly 2 weeks ago. Trying to grow some skin on my fingertips and fighting with F chord. Have not had so much fun in ages. Will upgrade to 2014 in 2 days for sure. Thanks guys. Brilliant work

You've created my favorite piece of software for my PS3, over any other gme I played. I already played advanced guitar but spending time playing in this "game" is so addicting. Ive learned 8 songs in like 3 days. Much love to you and Rocksmith 2014

Most Artists couldn't write down what they play. They just play it, even those with professional music theory background have mostly never seen their music written out, let alone done it themself.

Ok I am a single father of three. My son(the youngest) wanted to learn guitar when he was 11 because he would watch me play. I got him a Strat off brand and a little amp for his birthday. He only touch it like three time out of a year and a half. When your Bass add-on came out I got it and bought me a Bass. one while playing the guitar part of Rocksmith my son walked in and notice it saying bass on the screen. He asked if I got the add-on. I said yes and he took over my Bass and my PS3. Thanks.

You did a great job charting Born on the Bayou, I think the only thing that it would have needed is a way to display sustains on chords, so people can get a feel for the groove in the song but the way it was done is perfect ;)

That's a great work guys, RS1 is awesome and i really can't wait for RS2014. :D It only misses a "Tablature Mode" (allowing players to write their own tabs and play along with them for practice) to be the most best guitar game/tool ever made. :)

In the next version can we please have a looper function and some basic drum samples with fixed timings. I've always found session mode to be problematic, in that game musicians will ramp up or down doing opposite to my intentions. The mean values could do with options to dial in when the band will react to change of pace.

I don;t know how they know which guitar is doing which when they blend together. Also a lot of bass is buried in the mix. Tracking every note must be a bitch.

+Angel Gama No, they've said this on their livestreams that they don't use multitracks. Try to play a song and then don't play the notes, you'll hear the guitar track.

+chase cochran You're talking about something else. 1.- Do you realize the SIZE of the audio if you had to download every track in the format THEY use to create the tab. 2.-Their rights wouldn't allow them to RELEASE the Master Tracks to the public. This game is different than guitar hero.

einarabelc5 THEY DON'T GET ANY OF THE MASTER TRACKS, ONLY THE FULL SONG. THEY SAID THIS ON THETWITCH STREAM. They modify the mp3 file they get so that they can hear the guitar better.

+chase cochran Look, screaming isn't going to help you communicate, if anything is going to make the other person take you and what you have to say less seriously. If you want people to listen to you then reference the actual source and that'll end the discussion. Other than that the only thing I've to go with is this video and in here they say they get the source/licensed material. In recording standards that'll be the masters. But is true they aren't neither confirming it nor denying they're getting those. The following questions are left then: 1.-What exactly are they getting? You don't need to get anything from the studios/labels if you're using an mp3. All you need is permission. 2.-Is true that filtering like you say helps FOCUS the sound on a certain instrument but after a mix, is never a perfect process. So if what you say is true then what is the point of number 1? Given the information I have all I can say is that I don't have enough information to understand what's happening. If you want to insist on what you're saying then send the link and if you kindly can explain what exactly do they mean when they say in this video they're getting the source material. Is not necessary to scream.

you have to use ABY splitter, or BOSS TU-3 in my case
