OMG yes!! Finally we know when we've missed a note. It was always really hard to tell where I'd gone wrong between the looking-at-the-fretboard and seeing-what's-coming-next I'd sometimes finish the song feeling like I missed none and it would be on 99% :(

Cant wait for this!..i've started playing guitar early this year on my own and surprisingly reached low intermediate level, mostly in the beginning just reading & listening and observing other guitar and paying attention to guitar tracks and then doing practice techniques & able to read tab but not able to translate whats in my head to the guitar yet & i think this will shoot me alot forward skill and technique wise ever further & quicker, im 22 so i feel behind, cant wait to embrace this!

The original Rocksmith did teach and allow you to practice scales, and proper technique, for both bass and guitar. One of the great things about this game is that it is teaching you way more than just how to play a song it has on the list. It's guitar lessons for someone who isn't willing or able to pay hundreds of dollars a year for an instructor whom isn't available 24/7 any time you want to start learning something new. Apply reason before applying judgement.

also if you own the cable be sure to preorder the rocksmith owner edition as it comes without a cable and is less expensive than the rocksmith with a cable edition. The rocksmith owner edition has an image of a white les paul custom on the cover.

You can transfer all DLC from the first game, and from what I've heard, you can transfer the whole on disk-library from the first game as well.

I've noticed (from the ones I have seen online and sometimes in stores especially music store) come with an Epiphone Les Paul Junior. IT would be sick if they would come with a Thunderbird bass as well. That would be AMAZING!

I owe the creators of Rocksmith a lot of my appreciation, honestly I thought this game was going to be some rip off that wouldn't work (The first game) and I tried playing guitar for 2 years before I got Rocksmith and I was HORRIBLE, I couldn't even perform a decent hammer-on lol, but I got Rocksmith around a year and a half ago, and it really helped me progress, I only stuck with it for about 4 months and moved onto harder and more technical songs on my own, but Rocksmith gave me that kickstart

The improvisation mode is amazing!! You can do the same game for the piano with the impro mode also (blues, jazz) xD it would be LEGENDARY!!! Nice work!! Im going to buy this game to improve my guitar level, thanks!!

If you're a beginner, it is always hard to start... it takes a lot of practice and repetition. In my opinion they do that part pretty well and if you are doing good they'll increase the level. I think it's a great game, give it another try, maybe after learning some songs you'll like it more. The only thing that I feel they need to add is an online multiplayer mode (even if it is just for sessions), because I like playing guitar and I could play it all day if I wasn't alone.

First off, I'm looking forward to this so much, but on the bottom, the fret board, they have the low E string on the top. This is upside down from all the years of guitar tab I'm used to (high E on top), so I really hope we have an option to flip that around to make it look correct.

Oh. That's Odd I played guitar for a while too and This seems like a good introduction to guitar. Maybe you could explain what isn't useful about a game that not only teaches you chords and frets and strumming but also gives you a basic understanding of scales and music theory?

I am fairly certain there is experience and unlockables and leveling up. Piecing together what I've heard it's a big upgraded version of Rocksmith 1. The game picks out songs for you and you play through them being scored and get experience. Not sure how much "gameiness: you can shove into a tool like this,

This seems nice... never really bothered learning full songs, this might change things. Two questions, though: 1. Do I have to use said cable or can I use my own audio interface? 2. Do you have to play in standard tuning or can the game transpose the fretboard - maybe even the audio - to a certain tuning?

iirc Axl Rose and Slash are in a feud. Rose, as the owner of the band, will embargo any game that has songs involving Slash (baring, of course ,those from his own band) RS11 had Velvet Revolver's song "slither" on it, so he prolly's not gonna let anything he owns near the game.

I have a question, why the order of the ropes are the inverse of a tablature? Can you reverse that with an option in the game? I mean if you learn in that way, and then you use a tablature to learn other song, you going to play it in a wrong way. I dont say that you have to elimited default form, because it can be usefull for people that are starting, but maybe would be great if you could change it with a game option.

The program looks interesting. I hope it has a setting to adjust it's display for left-handed players. The video indicates it is for electric, or acoustic/electric guitars only. No indicate if you could use it if you play an acoustic only guitar. I hope it has a good selection of music for players of an older generation. I very much doubt I would have any interest in playing something by "Alice In Chains even if I knew who they were.

Please add some customization to the approaching notes.. For example for a beginner like me it'd be better to see, between 9 and 12, i'd like to see 11th fret approaching as a number.. Like reading from a tab.. small approaching numbers can be helpful and you could make it optional for user that wants to use like that or not..

This wont teach you how to be a songwriter or concert performer (necessarily), but couple this with private lessons and your on a set track to have way more fun practice session at home or simply jamming (which is my practice sessions) in the session mode. I really only want to try this for its 3 in 1 software of song learning, inventive jam sessions, and decent forms of practice for techniques. Although, i havent seen how much detail it goes into with effects and such, its all about fun right?
