I’ve worked in a forest/ woodland for early 20 years and suddenly feel it’s like being back at the beginning listening to these sounds. They’re wonderful.

Fantastic video, love trees especially the Oak tree, they are so beautiful. Dame Judi Dench did a program about how trees tailk to one another through the roots system, it was very intresting, also Tony Kerkham from Kew Gardens also did many years ago two programs on trees, it was so fasinating. Trees in rich us all and are so relaxing. Thank you for sharing, it was very fasinating and intresting.

Thanks for the info! I'm actually going to be making some video series on this over the coming weeks. Very exciting to share my findings with you all! Tonights video is about the song of the silver birch tree 🎶💚

Very nice, some great scenes and photographs there. These oaks are so beautiful. Fascinating how you always seem to find new approaches to connecting with nature and new ways to take us along. I don't mind if that is 'less consistent', the consistency is in the awe and respect for nature...

Thanks, I have really enjoyed created this series of videos. It's been a fascinating new way to connect with nature and a really beautiful concept that the woodland is playing it's own song 🎶 I have another video tonight, this one is about the silver birch tree 🌲🌱

Great video and great images! The oak acorns make a wonderful flour, but one must grind then soak the acorns to remove the tannins. One would then dry the ground acorns and dry them well. you can then use that to make a really nice bread. Thanks for your video!

Oh thanks, glad you think so too. That's a handy tip, I plan to collect some acorns soon. Thanks for watching, another in the way this evening. Silver birch trees this time, I plan to collect the sap next spring 🌱

Beautifully done, such fab tree images. We always knew trees can communicate, now you have given proof. Hope you gave thanks and hug the tree. It's the same with Crystals, they all have a healing energy. Such creatively you have, thank you for sharing.

Yes this is exactly right! It's amazing to learn more about the woodland. I hope to teach my son this one day 🙏🌱 I will be doing a series on tree communication and the tree network beneath our feet 🐾💚

That poem reminds me of a similar song; The Trees, by the band Rush. It's about the resilience of the Oak Tree against the mighty Maples, which can also be a metaphor for life. What an interesting device. This would be great to use during a forest photoshoot where it would be like you are actually communicating with your subject just as you would with a human model during a shoot... and the project plans, wow, I wish you all the best on that. It sounds worthwhile to pass onward. I will defiantly check out your Focus Flow when I get back from vacation in a few weeks when I have time to regroup. Great video Suzannah 🌿

Thank you so much! I will check out that song. This is very true. The oak tree is a really beautiful, strong tree and I really love the poem. I'm really looking forward to developing this further. I have a few recordings on Focus flow as a good way to switch off in the evening when cooking or just relaxing editing images. Thanks, I appreciate the support 🙏 It makes all the difference. I've just released another video showcasing the song of the Silver Birch tree tonight 💚🌱

Superb video Suzannah. Images, although they can be powerful are only half the story in most cases. I always carry an audio recorder with me on my photography days out and enjoy capturing audio clips that I can work with later. Do attempt making your own ink, what a wonderful thing to do. 🙏

Excellent. I don't know if you have come across any books by Dr Oliver Rackham but he has written books on ancient woodland (he passed in 2015) Obviously Guy Shrubsholes The Lost Rainforests of Britatin is a book that has garnered a lot of interest. I have books from both on my shelf. All the best with the project. Alan
