The South Shields 10 Mile Race 2024 | Event Footage

Another weekend and another needed race event. This time it's the South Shields 10 Mile Race! Organised by Run Eat Sleep, the course starts and ends at Souter Lighthouse with the majority of the run taking in the South Shields coastline.
Perfect weather conditions, and no leg sapping events just a few days out, I had high hopes for a decent time. This is a great warm up event for September's Great North Run with its mix of undulating trail and freshly laid tarmac footpaths.
As always let me know if you spot yourself and a big thank you for those that came to say hello at the end of the event. Your kind words are why I enjoy doing this!
