The Spectacular Spider-Man | Smallville Style Season 5

Season 5: Norman is overtaken by the goblin's personality now to the end, and now the only obstacle that stood in his way was a spider. But it's not that easy to find him, so he decides to follow Peter, since he's a the photographer of Spider-Man. Now he has learned that Spider-Man and Peter Parker are the same person, and therefore decides not to attack immediately, but gradually. To nightmare, and give all sorts of hints, riddles, to haunt as if Peter is hallucinating. Leave messages. And then there are Gwen's plans to go to England to study. Peter doesn't want to part with her, but he also doesn't want her to suffer the fate of her father. Throughout the season, Peter noticed something strange in Norman's behavior, he felt something was going wrong, but did not understand what. All the strange messages that the goblin left him scared him, because it was believed that he died in season 3. All these attacks but...Nothing. Not a trace. And when they are spending time together, the goblin decides to strike the last blow, attacking them, setting off explosions. You can't hide anymore and you have to fight. And they give chase and destroying the city, Spider-Man asked Eddie and Harry to save Gwen and MJ. Friends didn't understand where Peter was when they needed him so much. Only Gwen understood this, and the pain Peter feels when he puts on a mask every day. Peter is shocked, because in season 3 it was believed that the goblin crashed and died, but it was not so. The goblin revealed his identity, and Peter was confused, the fact that his best friend's father is a goblin, it just broke him to some extent. The goblin's personality completely clouded Norman's mind, and he lost himself, there is no turning back, and in battle he dies from his own bombs. As a result, Harry lost his father, Gwen leaves the city after this incident, no matter how painful it was for her to lose Peter. Harry understood that his father was not as good a man as he would have liked, but he loved him, and he hates spider for not saving him. And Miles Warren is on the way, who continues the plans of Oscorp, but he has his own vision for these plans. Let me know what you think about it!

Ngl when I saw Gobby in the thumbnail, I thought you were gonna do the Gwen Stacy death. Is that still in the plans, or are you gonna steer away from that?

To be honest, I went the other way. I understand that Peter has gone through this difficult path, yes, it may shock and disappoint someone, but we've seen it before, that's what I want to convey. It was too obvious, so I decided to turn the wheel of fate in the other direction. So she won't die.@@ninjat-rex7472

Personally I think killing her off is kind of important, especially for MJ's character, as it was that moment that signaled for her to move past the party girl persona she had made for herself. Having Gwen alive in my opinion, kinda takes away from this, and lessens MJ's development. However, I do understand your reasoning for trying to steer clear from her death. It is true that we've seen it a lot, and writers (across all media) tend to drag us back to that moment a few too many times.

I really like it, and impressed that we have basically the same ideia. The difference is Gwen notice shes not safe on season 4, because Otto use her as a hostage 2 times, and in the second is when he noticed the coincidence... Making the obvious math, he discovers Peter's identity.

Grant Gustin is known for his role as Barry Allen/The Flash in the Arrowverse, but imagining him as Spider-Man is intriguing! He might bring a different energy to the character, perhaps a blend of his own charm with Peter Parker's wit and determination. It would definitely offer a fresh take on the iconic superhero.

Thank you very much! His version of Eddie Brock is a close friend of Peter Parker, Gwen and Harry, since high school. He is older than them, and has always been like an older brother to Peter.

@ratinahatroblox3021 I think you could age him up a bit and it still work fine. He still looks young for his age as well so he could play early 30's no problem in my book. But that's just me.

Yes, they are also close, but Harry was somewhat surprised by Eddie's unexpected return, which made him a little tense, but he is really glad to see him, and remember those fun days, spending them, for example, on Coney Island, and in general, there are a lot of pleasant memories that Norman could not give to his son Harry, because for his work, and dark deeds...Eddie cherished and appreciated his friends very much.@@BurningBushProductions

@@tommy_x19 I'm actually surprised you allowed her to live. The problem with Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man lore is that whenever she is introduced, people are almost always expecting her to die, which prevents anyone from getting attached to her character. Sure, her death made for a very historical moment in comic book history, but it was done just so Peter could be with Mary Jane... and we all saw how that turned out. Gwen can be so much more than that now. She could more or less be like Lana Lang, the first love that simply didn't work out.

From the beginning of the development of the series, I was sure that I would keep her alive because the first thing is that this character deserves better. Second, we can make every adaptation another death of Gwen Stacy or other things we've seen in other projects, but it's already so obvious and boring that it's getting tiresome. Plus I was inspired by Ultimate Spider-Man created by Jonathan Hickman, which showed a very different story. And that's what I'm doing, writing a very different story, trying to give the best and not mock the characters or make them stupid like authors like to do.

@@tommy_x19 NO WAY, BRO! That's LITERALLY the same thing I did on my story! 😂😂😂 Gwen goes to England at the beginning of the 3rd episode of the 5th season. This opens the pretext for MJ to take the initiative with Peter, but he denies it because he still likes Gwen. When she realizes the situation, she stops... The problem is that she also likes Spider-Man (Development that comes from the previous season). When Peter saves her from a quick kidnapping, they end up having the famous upside-down kiss.

There are some details like in some scenes Peter (Grant) still has the Flash suit, and in thumbnail. I understand you don't have enough material or experience to edit footage in different colors and designs, but I would fix this. But still good fan intros 👍
