It's a very nice looking watch. I like that they put in a solar quartz instead of the same meca quartz or Seagull ST19 movements. It's nice to change it up and have different opinions.

Like you, I'm a big fan of the 12 o'clock frog and I think we could lose the TF text on the dial, especially since it's plastered all over the rehaut. And I'm not a fan of that on R's, either. For some reason it doesn't seem as annoying on the Frog. The lack of adjustability in the clasp is the biggest negative to me. I've been looking for a sport panda and this might be it come Monday. Good review, as always.

Update: I ordered one on 20MAR and got it yesterday. The rehaut doesn't bother me at all, in fact it took several hours for me to even notice it. I definitely would like another hole or two on the clasp for adjustability and could do without the diver's extension. The bracelet edges are rather sharp, as you noted. A couple of minutes with some 400 grit paper knocked them dull. I really like watch.

i have this one surely a solid build. finish is surely good not cheap feeling at all. The dial color (cream or off white) pops with the black dials very easy to read.i love the branding around the dial as well. at this price point its well worth the price..

This is a very nice watch Zee. Not overly worried about the rehaut as my eyes aren't good enough to see it👀😂. I really like it, I like the frog but wouldn't mind if it was a little smaller. Solar is great. The Pulsar Chrono with Seiko solar movement I have has gained just 9 seconds over 3 months. Beat that Rolex! Excellent review as always! I have a few chrono's now including one with this panda dial, but will put the burgundy one in the basket and see how much discount it gets.

That particular watch is a bit steep in price unless your looking for a great solar watch in that case I'd say go for As far as thier logo anyone in the Naval force's should dig it I have a similar tattoo only the frog is holding a trident Personally Sugess has very nice mechanical chronos for just a few dollars more that are Definitely worth adding to any collection I've added a couple and couldn't be any happier Thanks for another killer review my friend and Stay Frosty 👍

I loved the Seiko version until I discovered that its only 100m water resistance, now that is odd for the Prospex range as they are all normally 200m so I have ordered this watch instead, by the way you have a real unicorn there as yours do not have a date opening and when you look around the web its not available. As for the pushers the seiko has the same issue too so I suspect its a movement issue.

There isn't anything about this watch that I don't like! I'm pretty confident it will be a great replacement for my Pagani Paul Newman Daytona in my collection :) It seems like its price on Ali has jumped up slightly but the Tactical Frog website /which btw has UK and US warehouses/ offers it at a better price. Also - a fantastic review as usual! P.S. Do you happen to know if the chrono minutes dial has the power reserve indication functionality? I think some VS movements have that but I'm not 100% sure about the 75. Thanks!

Nice watch at a price just lower to what that of the original should be. My only improvement would be to make the frog slightly smaller and fit it on the coloured part of the dial so it did not overlap the black outer track. Might consider depending on the sale price. Regards

I own this watch 6 months now and i still love it! Better than Seiko Speedtimer in every way and three times cheaper. The only things i would change is more lume on the subdial hands so they better match the color of the other lumed parts, and slightly move the dial text to the left (it's off centre, but hardly noticable).

Any idea how long the battery power reserve is on this? In the fall I bought my dad a citizen, Echo Drive solar, chronograph and it was rated at a five month power reserve he can never make it through the winter in Canada, just curious.

Echo-Drive charges from all sources of light not just sunlight.

It is definitely a good movement from Seiko but having own 3 solar Seikos, they are definitely not reliable from my experience. This is the main reason keeping me away from any Seiko/Epson solar movement

"Round two" clearly. Feels rushed. By account of the production difficulties, this feels rushed and a miss-offering to the viewer. At nearly 14 minutes with zero sponsor blurbs, maybe take a beat next time, lose the frustration of the initial filming fail and do it again clean and proper, like you usually do :)

I felt like that could be a bummer thing to happen and re-doing things can be undesirable. It felt like there was an undertone of that throughout the video. Different from your other videos. I appreciate your usual presentation and tone and I am encouraging that :)
