I couldn't get through the first issue. The artwork is amateurish, and the writing abysmal.

I didn't mind the art, but yeah I just found the writing really poor. I know I'm in the minority, but I just don't see the hype.

Im not a fan of the recent writings of Spider-punk since this comic, honestly. Comparing the writing and tone of his first appearance, and when he went to go get Hulk, to the more recent stuff..it feels kid-ish. Like they're pulling back from the fact that Hobie DECAPITATED the fucking PRESIDENT. That tone doesn't persist throughout the rest of his writings.

Yeah I don't know, I haven't read anything of him since this run I just remember reading this one and not liking it and it feeling very out of touch and written by people who don't actually know the punk community before such a surface level, it all feels really inauthentic and for a lack of a better word "corporate".
