Working under Mourinho, Ancelotii, Ranieri, and the various other great Chelsea managers inspired Lampard to believe that he could be a successful manager himself. It's a massive test than so many players don't embark upon. I'd argue that winning a relegation battle is profoundly more testing, and shows a greatness in character especially when his experience has never allowed him to feel like a loser who has to really fight for survival. If Everton had been relagated, I'm not sure how they could have survived as a football team so it's great to see him turn this one around. I wasn't sure the team would do it, but let's see what he can do next season. Well done Frank!

People on here saying that we are over celebrating surviving relegation, that it's not an achievement and we should be higher in the table. Yes we should be higher, but due to the position we were in (particularly a couple of weeks ago) and the free fall we were in after benitez, losing so many games, to turn it around is a great achievement. Kudos to Frank for turning it around, getting the support back from the fans and getting us playing with heart and soul. Under benitez I think we would have carried on as we were and got relegated.
