Long time no watch to see what time it is but when I see my hands I can see my past by memory as I can see my future by my hearth. No watch but when I see my hands I see I don't grow old and find the patience within although people's behavior around me. No finger for a ring while I am not captured in a ring of fire because marriage is not a promise to my desire. Hands are the inversion to action of the spoken word to trace back to "yes" or "no" of the structuring soul to the future of all life as promised in desire and are a gauge of intention. The mind of understanding the conformity of reality has the touch of gratitude to the self as the promising environment and finds the way of non violence in the purity preservation of the soul. The legs bring the hands to the place the mind wished to go by decision of the self in the question of life from A to B over the street and even at sea.

He claimed that the fingers had some sort of power that can be used, misused, or ignored, but did not explain the basis for that claim or how to take advantage of it. The only actionable thing I heard was that wearing a ring on the thumb attracts some manner of influence we can't control and therefore should avoid doing that.
