The Splatoon 3 Inkspedition: Mahi Mahi Resort

Mahi Mahi is a returning map from Splatoon 1 that was first revealed in Splatoon 3’s August Direct. It came out with the release of the game and was a revamp of the old version. The map takes place within a pool of a lavish resort and is home to one of the coolest map gimmicks in Splatoon history: changing water levels. In the new version of Mahi Mahi though, there is a lot of controversy due to how cramped the map feels and the lack of counterplay on the map. In this Inkspedition, we’ll talk about some of those issues as well as some of the cooler details in the newer version of Mahi Mahi. What Splatoon map would you want to see in the next Inkspedition? i have a theory that the older maps feel much smaller because our cephalopods are older. like thinking back on how massive Mahi and D'Alfonsino were in Splat 1 is kinda like when you think about a place you spent your childhood in and then revisit to find it feels much smaller now that you've grown. that's the only explanation i can think of for the map changes because no other reason makes sense

Mahi Mahi is horrible on most modes, but Splat Zones on it is actually pretty fun! Whenever Mahi Zones is on rotation I get some pretty good results!

I think even Zones on Mahi is questionable. Its the best mode on it, but even then I feel like the map is so tiny that kills feel useless, like they just come back really fast.
