i have a theory that the older maps feel much smaller because our cephalopods are older. like thinking back on how massive Mahi and D'Alfonsino were in Splat 1 is kinda like when you think about a place you spent your childhood in and then revisit to find it feels much smaller now that you've grown. that's the only explanation i can think of for the map changes because no other reason makes sense

Mahi Mahi is horrible on most modes, but Splat Zones on it is actually pretty fun! Whenever Mahi Zones is on rotation I get some pretty good results!

I think even Zones on Mahi is questionable. Its the best mode on it, but even then I feel like the map is so tiny that kills feel useless, like they just come back really fast.

I like how I’m starting to be so much more excited for the Inkspedition not just because of the humor and map breakdown but now L O R E!
