The Splatoon 3 Inkspedition: Shipshape Cargo Co.

Shipshape Cargo Co is a new map in Splatoon 3 that was released during Drizzle Season 2023. The map was released and, alongside Crableg Capital, became a change of pace from the usual, flat Tetris pieces. Shipshape Cargo Co. takes place on a cargo ship in the Arctic. In this Inkspedition we’ll explore some of the cool details of the map as well as how good it is to play on in turf war and the ranked modes. Shipeshape is definitely my favorite of the Splatoon 3 new DLC maps, love all the routes especially the added route on left in TC and RM for an added flank! Can’t wait to see the new maps in the future, these maps are definitely a big step up, and it can only get better!

AND DAVE IS PLANNING TO INVESTIGATE HAMMERHEAD BRIDGE WHERE THE OCTO EXPANSION STATUE IS AKA THE LAST REMANT OF ALPHA, BILLY, AND THE HOST OF THE INKSPEDITION’S ORIGINS!!!! ALPHA IS SO GOING TO GUT DAVE SOON 😭😭😭 But when it comes to the map covered in this inkspedition, Shipshape is the freshest breath of air alongside crableg! These maps with multiple routes make this game playable again! I do hope crableg gets covered later on!

Hm… interesting… aside from how incredible this new map is there’s new lore… so now I’m wondering where Alpha came from… not the Square or Splatsville but… what about the Octo Canyon in the Plaza…? He went through the octo expansion so he is one of those Octolings… and we already know that the sanitized ink mutated Alpha’s DNA… as well as crated a new variant of himself, Billy… and the Host of the Inkspadition… Billy is the positive and carefree parts of Alpha while the Host (I’m tired of typing the whole name 😂) is definitely the strategic and overly confident part of Alpha… But why is he so desperate for them not to find out, defensive even… part of him is different… I wouldn’t go as far to say evil but… maybe the sanitized ink is messing with more then JUST his DNA… maybe messing with him psychologically… possibly even infecting him like it did Agent 3?

I didn't wanna bring it up too much because what I found was very inconsistent but I think it's to provide more stability and efficiency to the tasks the ship needs to do, such as housing an oil rig.

Minigame moment just because Kill the V.I.P This minigame is a 4v4 rainmaker mode (Tell me the last time you've heard rainmaker used as a minigame) that really bring out teamwork in this mode (just realizing my first seen minigame mode was a teamwork game mode) POINT SYSTEM The point SYSTEM is actually kinda simple Win rainmaker game (Traveled the furthest with the beast or "come on and slam" with it) - 5 points Most painted - 3 points Rainmaker kills (explain how it works later) - 1 point each death RULES A simple rainmaker game, but when someone picks up the rainmaker, they can't die AT ALL MEANS with it, or else the enemy team gets a point (Ex: If someone on team blue got the rainmaker, if the carrier gets killed, jumps off on accident since I don't care, or the rainmaker resets, the points goes to team red), so you might want to be around your teammates a lot with some kill heavy weapons, just saying. Also everyone gets 2 lives max, and if you are holding the rainmaker, you can't lose lives, but if you lost one, you don't reset straight to 2. And of course, if you lose all lives, go back so spawn And that's basically it, of course you can Chang these rules how you want, goodnight.
