Seeing that empty page was sad. I graduated 8 years ago, but when I was in high school, I would write a minimum 1/3 page for anyone who asked me to sign their book. I took it seriously and would take my time to write something personal, or bring up something that happened that year, or make some jokes, just something unique. You never know how far in the future someone may refer to it, so I want to make sure what I write stands out or makes them feel something, whether that be inspiration, laughter, or just good feelings......but majority of what I got was "see you next summer" "be awesome" "stay in touch" etc. -__- Also, pro tip, please write your full name and write it clearly. I had a few comments where I wanted to see who left it but couldn't figure it out. A lot of people have the same first name so now they'll have to go through each page and assume who left it.

This hit so close to home- I almost cried. My senior year was the best school year of my life, at least the 1st semester. I finally got to enjoy going to school because I made some amazing friends. We always used to talk about prom and graduation and how excited we are- Me and a certain boy grew really close together and I actually started to like him, I think he liked me too. We made a lot of memories in the winter break and he promised me we will dance together at prom! My last class was P.E and even though I played ping pong with him many times, that day was the first time I actually won against him wohooo. He said he will take revenge next week But next week’s ping pong match never happened. Schools just closed like that. Suddenly. I didn’t even get to hug my friends. I always thought about the memories I could have had with them this spring- It’s just sad, I am trying to not feel sad about it but it is what it is. I hope that I will at least have a normal university experience Thank you for reading if you got here. I just needed to share my story.

I never even got to say goodbye to my friends in person, or have a real graduation ceremony. It felt so botched. But it is nice to have the technology to sort of stay in touch with them. I hope you were able to keep up with some of your friends (and that one guy) despite everything. Although it feels like the end of the world more than ever these days, this will end someday, too. Things will get better, and we will have some unique stories to tell our kids and grandkids about our school days.

This was absolutely beautiful. I’m a senior in high school this year, and this short film really resonates with me. It beautifully depicts how new and strange things are now, and shows how despite that, we can still have the new beginnings we hope for. It’s inspiring. We have so many new doubts, and so many wishes that never came true. Sincerely, I thank everyone involved in this production. It gives me hope for this upcoming year. It settles the anxiety I’ve had in my stomach. It reminds me that there are adventures waiting for us journey them. Adventures that won’t start without us taking a step into uncharted waters. Thank you.

This title has a whole different meaning to me. In mid-March 2020, my school was quarantined indefinitely until graduation. All underclassmen went home, whereas seniors were not allowed to leave campus. Since we were quarantined, we couldn't leave our isolated dorm rooms except for food or sanctioned socially distant class meetings. If we were caught within 6 feet of another person, no matter the reason, we were threatened severe punitive action. In this time, two of my classmates took their lives within days of each other. As I am sitting here in my new apartment, with my new job, in a new state, I can't help but think that they should be doing the same thing. They should have rushed outside the dorms, double fisting cans of beer, when our class heard our graduation date moved up. They should have thrown their parade caps into the air with us at our socially distanced graduation, and cried in the aftermath. But that was the spring they never had, at once one of the most painful and joyous springs in my life. I think it's safe to say almost every American has lost something this year, whether it be a person or experiences you will never have. But I think we have to honor the people and the things that we lost by making the best of our future to come.
@tyv23224 жыл бұрын
I graduated this year too and it hurts to think about how much us seniors missed. Prom, graduation, frosh week, are all memories that even my parents still remember to this day. Prom, my anniversary with my boyfriend, senior prank day, graduation, long summer nights that end up at a Baskin Robbins... it all went by so quickly and we didn't even know it. Man I hate but love y’all so much 😠🥺. This was really close to how my situation would’ve possibly panned out if COVID didn’t go down. Memories of studying,hanging out, getting boba together, going prom together. I wanted to cry but I was crying on the inside 😂😅. This short film means so much to me and I’m SO thankful that y’all put in so much work to produce this and get this out there. Keep doing what y’all are doing and don’t change 😔🙏🏽 love y’all so much. God bless !

They didn't have that one of a kind spring, but they surely did have a wonderful summer. Such a right time and right season for both of them. 💛

i remember my last day of high school was March 13th. we all kinda felt it, but we didn’t know it was gonna be the last day. this video really depicted my longing for making those final memories. but it also taught me that we should take hold of new opportunities that come about. so thanks Wong fu :))

This video is so emotional, Wong Fu really knows how to pull at your heartstrings. This video is so real, the writing is so sad!! You can sense his longing for all those things that he wanted to happen with her. The longing he had for her, and all those things that didn't get to happen. Such a beautiful short Phil!

I've never seen these actors before in a WF short, but they acted REALLY well🥰 the awkwardness of high school was so well captured. So happy to see young Asian American talents in WF shorts!

What a lovely film! The background track was heart touching. The main lead acted brilliantly. Wong Fu has always inspired me to follow my passion of filmmaking and I am grateful to you for that. Thank you! Sending love from India. ❤️

The awkwardness in the beginning made me feel like I was in high school all over again 😱

God I remember fantasizing about prom with my friends and being able to graduate next to them and thank them for helping me get through the past 4 years because boy did I doubt myself at times, but instead we got a virtual one and prom was canceled. I haven’t been able to see or touch my friends since June. It’s kind of unbelievable that first we miss the best parts of our senior year and then we miss the best parts of freshman year of college as well. This hit close to home and I really enjoyed watching it so thank you so much Wong Fu Productions 🙏
