it wasn't about the 'Christian' character being empty and becoming moral. the character was just in a position of privilege and power with unquestioned prejudices and other things take for granted with that; his development came with realizing his prejudices.

These artists talk about being authentic and honest. But why should the lead actors conform to beauty standards even in art house films ? After all, art is supposed to breaks all superficial norms. These art house film makers are phonies and hypocrites.

Dominic's answer just proves how celebrities can be talented and dam stupid at the same time. Artists are not rich!! Compare them to celebrities, and they are not even close! Who he is talking about? Damien Hirst maybe? Mathew Barney...poor Mathew! And even so...Stupid answer. But then again for a stupid film which does not grasp the nature of art and is manipulative and populist, what to expect...

I didn't! In any case I went back and watched it again twice. He is talking seriously and not being ironic. And I don't think Dominic would answer a question to the press with irony anyway. He is serious! And It looked even worse now. Just stupid, also because artists are supposed to make art and not being scientists, therefore the "cannot be disputed" part of his answer is just another sign of his stupidity! For those who are curious he answers the question at 3:28.
