I was sitting on a basketball court waiting for a friend of mine, I was looking at the sky (as I usually do.. I like watching the stars and I like space in general), I notice that a star was more let's say "twinkly" than the rest, this happens a lot but this particular star was TOO active, I was feeling like this wasn't normal, like it was going to expire in front on my eyes, indeed at some point there was a huge flash of light, it didn't blind me or something but is was enough to be easily noticable, after this the star was nowhere to be seen... now having said that here's a few details: A) I was under the influence and although this never effected me enough in order to have such measurable illusions (especially back then, I was TOO used to it and had extreme tolarance) it kinda helps me excuse what I saw.. B) I thought that I saw a supernova (the end of a star) at that moment, however if I'm not mistaken scientists literally have telescopes pointed in every single degree of the sky at all times so if there was a supernova close (and/or bright) enough so that it was able to be seen with the naked eye I'd hear about it (probably here on youtube, like on Scishow). C) after the flash I tried to find the star again, didn't see it, but there was one close enough to the same area where the "twinkly" one was, so the most believable explanation is that due to me being under the influence (the....plant actually makes every experience more intense) I saw a star that was optically more energetic than the rest (this happens a lot), the influence made me think that is was abnormally energetic, the flash was an illusion my brain created (for some reason) and it snapped me out of it and I then saw the star normally (and I just happened to kinda lose track of it after the illusion of the flash so the "star that was close to the area the "twinkly" was" was indeed the same star which I now saw as it was...normal (although I'd like it to be less faint so that this explanation seemed more valid)).

Umm... you realize they _move,_ right? Because the Earth is moving, so where stars are in the night sky visibly changes; very slowly, but enough that what's visible just after sunset bears little resemblance to what's visible just before sunrise, and entirely different constellations are visible in different season. They even drift enough that in the course of human history, what stars the poles align with have changed. So this is complete nonsense. It also validates the worldview of some extremely dangerous people, and if there's anything scary about it, it's the idea of what those people might use it to justify.
