I learnt a lot about the A320 family and the normal and non normal procedures and the system logic in a much easier way. Now today i knew about your journey as I knew a little bit of you earlier but still it's a pleasure to see your success.

Basically the first step is how are you going to get your hands on $100k. I tell people all the time look into flight training at Hillsboro Aviation in Oregon (right next to Beaverton where Nike's HQ's is & also near Portland). There's a few reasons for this; for one - there is no sales tax in OR. That saves you a HUGE amount of $$$ considering how much instruction costs. Also, you can fly in all types of real world environments like the mountains, the beaches, the plains etc - all of that surrounds Hillsboro. It's a huge advantage over learning somewhere that is just flat & warm like FL or AZ but again, the no sales tax thing is a big factor. They are a great school and I highly recommend them. Students from all over the world come to Hillsboro for training & they offer both fixed wing & helicopter training. Plus you fly out of the same airport that Phil Knight of Nike keeps his Gulfstream's at. The sign in front of the hangar just has the Nike "Swoosh" on it and nothing else, pretty cool.
