The biggest issue I have with this game is Stamina. I have literally thrown 25 Jabs per round and that's it, all the while the CPU is swinging and missing, swinging and missing. The whole fight I had 10-11% less Stamina than the CPU. How is that even possible? Honestly, the real reason I don't play the game all that much.

I play a lot of early access games and don't remember ever being cut off from updates like this before. I'm still excited for October, but I don't expect the official release to be better than Tactic Boxing or Bloody Knuckles Street Boxing considering those games are made by solo developers. I think most of Steel City's money is going to licensing boxers. Undisputed might not have the best gameplay, but it'll have a huge roster 🥊

I am hesitant to give any companies my tweak ideas because they use them and never give credit, but we need a different sound when a head blow is landed BASED ON the fighter that has landed it. You blasting your opponent in the head should NOT sound like you just took the blow. There needs to be two separate sounds - one of you hitting, and one of you getting hit. THQ and EA still do this silly mistake and always have. FIX IT!!

Mate.. For 2 years I've pointed out their issues, they'll release a hotfix a few days later.. Or where they've stated "no more major updates going forward" I release a video demonstrating how bad their career mode immersion is, a few weeks later they drop a trailer showing "belt celebrations". Claimer can you please address the horrendous stepping animations (especially backstep) It seems like everyone ignores this. Ive brought it up before but crickets.... People cant keep the same energy. Those slide animations were ridiculed in Fight Night champion but turn a blind eye to the same slide animations in Undisputed. The frustrating thing for me is they have beautiful step animations already (Loma, Fury, Holmes and some women) But they insist on having most Boxers have the same exact slide animation. Online players ubuse steps online so its gonna ruin the immersion regardless if they fix everything else. All they have to do is give everyone the good step animations they already have. Edit: That Dempsey roll looks bad too.

Consumers like this are why the game is struggling. Early access should have focused primarily on core gameplay issues, but instead they prioritized venues and low tier fighters that will rarely be used. After all this time in early access, they're just now addressing the body uppercut issue, a problem the community has complained about from the start. From what they showed us, it was a simple fix; adjusting the punch animation for proper use inside rather than spamming from 6 feet away. Many of the fighters and venues released during early access could have waited until the full release. Now, they’re showing us a bunch of animation and gameplay changes for the full release, but we don’t even know if they'll be executed effectively since we didn’t get to test them in early access.

Let's not look past the problem that is, among others is if it it is a physics/sim based game, they need sort out the weight disparity between weight classes: There isn't a difference between lightweight women ranked 90+ vs a heavyweight man at 90+. I have beaten every male heavyweight as the lightest woman. Tbh a 6 would be enough for me to recommend the game when on sale. The core problem many aren't aware of, relates to exploits in the game which on day one, will put you off Playing. I'll review the game, and inform consumers if they've been fixed.

We're on the same page on certain things, however for the message to reach a universal audience I just offer "data" and receipts so people can reach their own conclusions. Good video claimer always appreciate your honesty This game is goosed as someone who is a pundit for boxing games played almost all the fight nights and this game had a lot of potential and has things that fight night got wrong or failed to get right But It has a lot of problems all the things you mentioned But the biggest problem for me at least is loose movement every player uses it they cant fight without it ive noticed that its bugged it disrupts counters sometimes punches that land will not register or counters just register as normal hits fighters like srr crawford example are danm near impossible to close down so you get fights where they just back off the whole fight prancing around in loose movement and you just cannot hit them some odd shots will land but its goofy and arcadish looking but no one talks about it because they ALL use it spamming still going to be a problem i had high hopes but now i have doubts This game is being targeted for casuals and i dont mean this in a bad way BUTTON MASHERS.

I'm actually not sure regarding PC, I'll be wasting my money on the ps3 version so I'm able to review it fairly. I played the game for the first time in 4 months yesterday, online is a graveyard of leftover exploiters, loose movement puts them in slow motion, then it becomes a side/backstep punch multiplier game

Game needs alot of work. It's sad they didn't really fix anything while it was on early release. To me, it seemed like the the updates made the game worse. I got like 700+ or so hours on it too. What's crazy is fight night champion a game that came out in 2011 is still a better boxing game than this. Better mechanics.

I don't see the game being much better than where it is today vs. full release. they have a lot more than punch dynamics to fix, namely their online play and servers. they are trash experiences atm. Plus they aren't doing anything about exploits or hackers, the online play is saturated with them. They didn't even put any real game play in the pS5 preview just cinematic screens.

But the main hacking issue I’ve noticed is with stamina and health. If you’ve ever faced players who can throw nonstop punches and keep walking forward no matter what you hit them with, they’re likely using modding software like WeMod. It’s disappointing that we’re this far into early access and there’s still no mention of an anti-cheat.

I don't agree with you stamina, dunno if u did a 12 rounds high level fight yet, but u will b3 flat footed no matter what for ONLY 50 PUNCHES per rounds.. boxers are averaging 70 punches.. and guess what they do ? They increase stamina cost.. we will have he1vyweight punch output with bantamweight ( yes cuz bantam and HW have kinda the same stamina punch output lol )

@@ocerco93 it's about the punch type thrown, space between, and overall duration. The short term stamina generates far too quickly in ALL scenarios, if you're throwing light punches.. Then you're fighting in a controlled state and it should generate fast. But if you're throwing like in the clip (uncontrolled) your be exhausted. The term "blow your wad" exists for a reason. You should pay the price for not managing your pacing

The thing is, u can pretty much do one or two combos only and be slow paced, 50 punchers per round witv very very few power punches will gas you out under 9 rounds.. Claimer you think ea would bring out new fight night aftwr the recent ufc flops ?and the whole embargo of the fake in game real footage on the promo for ufc 5 not to mention its basically copy pasted ufc 4 but with all the new features that steel city hasbrought to the table if fight night did come out it would have these fearures and hopefully more polished please bring back the parry system but i didnt play tight night 3 al lot online and apparrently it was gettiny abused well fight night called them parrys but they were more like catches than also an other feature they need to come up ive been thinking is to bring some sort of control system where you can weave and move back and forward the head movement in undisputed is ok but some punches from certain fighters are ompoosible to move away from in weave but jabs and straights are rather easy to avoid i just wiggle my head side to side not keeping my head in centre line ive been playing around with this and its so fun it allows for quicker more fluent combos the and you see the openings better try and duck under cover from hooks and they just track your head even if you duck in time t Just before the throw hooks just change trajectory especially with the likes of srr khn crawford

Theres only one reason why the devs wouldnt let the 10,000+ early access beta testers, test these updates... because they know these updates havent fixed anything and that us pc players will rake them over the coals for it, which would impact sales from the console market.
