This song could NOT have been done any better by anyone else than by the Statler Brothers. Love it!

My precious husband and I danced to this song at our wedding. I lost him almost 7 years ago. When I listen to it now I close my eyes and we're dancing once again.

Kathy I lost my husband and it’s been hard. He was a WW2 fighter pilot with quite a story to tell. We are losing our precious country if we don’t repent and turn around.

I saw the Statlers in the early 80's and made every concert within driving distance after that. They still are my absolute favorite group and this is one of my favorite songs by them. I remember my mom driving me to school in the 70's and hearing "Bed of Roses" and asking my mom why she liked "that" kind of music. Years later I finally understood why they were one of her favorites.

I love how the littlest guy in the group is the one with the biggest voice. One of country music's original boy bands in fine form! I also hope Harold's enjoying singing with God's angels.

I loved the Statlers and at one time owned every album they had released. This song, Silver Medals and Sweet Memories and More Than A Name On a Wall are my absolute fave Statler Brothers songs. These guys were the greatest and I miss seeing them when they would come within driving distance. I still want to kick myself for selling my old 8 track with Special Song for Wanda on it and only recently was able to find a digital copy of the song.
