I lived in Argentina for a while and have been making chimichurri for years, and I still picked up 2 pro tips from Sonny in this vid that I’ve never seen before- blanching 1/2 the herbs and adding the lemon/vin to serve. He is right, whenever I make chimi and add the lemon in all at once, it starts to lose that nice green color within a day. You’re a champ Sonny, thanks for sharing the knowledge.

Two great tips that kind of blew my mind with how obvious they seem in retrospect. I haven't considered blanching fresh herbs before, but it makes sense. Definitely going to try this with pesto. And I haven't thought about making a multi part sauce before, but it makes sense.

Must say, I love your videos. I actually just made “traditional” chimichurri the other day for my strip which your videos have helped me immensely. Also the grilled cheese was a great tip, I made 2 different ones. First was the parm crust with a slice of American and cuts of smoked Gouda. The second one I tried Asiago crust with Gouda and feta crumbles. Both were really good, I prefer the parm crust though. Wife thanks you too by the way cause you are what helped me get back in the kitchen and help relieve her of some cooking stress lol. Thank you for the tips, tricks and mouth watering visuals I hope they don’t ever stop. Stay safe and have a good one.

Your English is fine! Like he said WAY better than most of our Portuguese! Maybe you’ve learned more by now, but more natural English would be something like. “I’ve been watching you and another guy’s videos about cooking and the weird part is that I’m just 14. Here in Brazil it’s super weird to have people my age doing this kind of thing, so that you so much for being an amazing teacher! “ 👍🏾👍🏾
