PLEASE READ! This mount works and is designed for a 52" curved light bar! Please excuse my mistake where I mention it is a 50" light bar that I'm installing.

I really wish you could have included the details of the light bar also. I know they recommend a 52" with these mounts and curved looks best, but would help a ton to know the watts of the light bar, etc... But great video and great Jeep. Thanks

Older video but good ,if you have a WK with sun roof you will have to be careful you do no hit the drain tubes for the sun roof while drilling in that location.

I apologize for not including details on the light bar. If I could find them, I would but I bought it through a dealer that was a friend of mine. So far I have had no issues with the Auxbeam bar, no yellowing nor condensation.

MyJeepStory Cool man I appreciate the feedback. Wasn't trying to be a dick either, just a lot of folks had the same question. lol. The Jeep looks good. I almost bought a 2005 with the Hemi, but he wanted $6,200 and it has a ton of issues so I walked away from it. instead opting for a 2008 GC Laredo 4x4 3.7L with 104k miles and near excellent condition.

How do you deal with all the light bleed you get through the windshield onto the dash. I just installed mine last week with an Auxbeam as well. and seem to get a ton of light on the dash. makes it hard to drive with the light on.

UnboundPhoto I agree in that there is a lot of glare. I actually installed a visor strip of window tint and it helped quite a bit. You can also opt for a projector, spot style beam so it shoots the light as far forward in the narrowest beam. The last option may be a little late, but I'd give the visor a go of you can!

I did get them from RRO, but they're just Runcool hood vents as RRO is a vendor. I really liked them and they certainly did their job while I had them!

Yes, it would be the exact same process. Shown in the video is a 52" curved! Just test fit twice before drilling!

Wiring video is coming soon. I'll be using a Painless Performance Trail Rocker to install my components hooked up to these switches. Do you have more than one electrical accessory planned? If so, the Trail Rocker would be the way to go as it has fused relays wired up and ready to go. Otherwise, you can go out and buy a SPST relay and hook up the lights with simple wiring to your switch. Diagrams for that can be found online. Either way, good luck and let me know how it goes!

My Jeep Story excellent. Ya I have a few ideas in mind. For now just the set I have and probably doing some speaker upgrades, it’s got the Boston audio setup so there’s a lot of room to play. Gonna try and get a sub setup in the trunk area too

Taylor Welsh Yeah no problem! It's a mixed lift with 2.25" RRO spacers and Bilstein 4600 struts up front and OME HD coils with RRO shocks in the rear!

James Natale Hey bud, they are Run Cool louvers. I installed them just base off of their directions which were very in depth. they were around $100 or so, just Google Run Cool and they should show right up!

You may be able to being that you can mount this wherever you'd like. But I mounted it close to the windsheild knowing that the curve would contour the windsheild. A straight bar may hit the windsheild if it is mounted where mine is! I also think curved bars look a little more natural on this platform, but that is an opinion!

David Martin this is a curved 52", but TSA makes mounts for both 50" and 52". Sorry I didn't make that clear!

MyJeepStory I got the 52" rough country curved x5 bar... Pretty sure it has one yes. The issue is wiring the button it comes with to the OTRATTW switches and running the light bar wire stealthily through

American Offroad okay, it shouldn't be hard at all then. I can help you out when you get it, but to wire it to the OTRATTW switch will probably just require you to cut the supplies switch and added 1/4" female connectors, the. attach those to the switch!

Taken directly from The Steel Armadillo's website, "These mounts work with a 52" curved light bar. " I made the video on how to install them, they make the mount with specifications up to them. @@MyJeepStory As someone who is sponsored by TSA it is pretty sad that you don't even know the length of your lightbar... you clearly state (and in your video description "In this video, I go over how to install a Steel Armadillo light bat mount to mount a 50" light bar to your Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005-2010 WK! ") that the lightbar is 50 inches when in fact you have a 52 inch lightbar you should either put a warning in your title or take it down this is a misleading video.
