I absolutely love my Steepshot, especially for traveling. A fantastic brewer that brings out sweet flavors very well, in my experience.

Nice and thorough review! I agree with you on most of the points but I would have a hard time recommending the SteepShot over the Aeropress :)

Great video. Any recomandations on grind setting for manual grinder like the C40 or slim?

Great video! Super interesting to hear about the SteepShot. Production values spot on! Would be interesting to hear about who is making these brewers too. Thank you :) ... just saw the price... :o

i hate to change subject but where did you get this striped zip-up sweater james? your review was very well done sufficiently thorough such that i have no questions about the brewer :)

Damn, we could've used the screen for Con'Vid protection! It would've been just as effective... Kidding, well sorta'. Great video sir, BUYING one for the collection!

Hello - what grind setting would you recommend for the niche grinder? Many thanks!
@workshopcoffee90014 жыл бұрын
Hi Seb - we're very sorry, but we’ve yet to use the Niche grinder so wouldn’t know where to recommend setting it. If you have a setting that works well for Aeropress, try a click or two finer and see how that works out for you.

Coming from French pressed coffee& tea. How effective is it w/ black tea? Can you recommend a quiet manual compact bur grinder?

I wonder if a Porlex mini would fit inside the brewer for travel. If anyone watching this knows the answer to that, I'd appreciate being saved the expensive experiment!

The inventor of the aeropress says the filter papers are reusable. James Hoffman did a taste test and could not tell the difference between a cup made with a new filter paper or a used filter paper.

Svart grind setting, does that position mean the SS is in line with the red marker?
@shimmyjimmy884 жыл бұрын
Correct! Sorry that wasn't super clear
@workshopcoffee90014 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed - apologies for the lack of clarity there.

Is that a sweater from The Bay?

It's actually from Pendleton.

Superb explanation... unfortunately the most important information was missing. What we want to know is this - which of the three filters produced the least amount of sludge/sediment - and how much ended up in the cup from each filter? The presenter should have shown the amount of sludge (if any) produced from each of the three filters. Otherwise, there are many portable double wall coffee makers available for half the price of this pressurised gadget. I dread to think what might happen if a mentally impaired person or young child (hopefully unlikely) ever got their hands on this potentially dangerous device.

More durable than an Aeropress? Really? Have you ever damaged an Aeropress?
@MitchellLutes3 жыл бұрын
... I mean.... they’re both pretty durable brewers is I think the point. Why so defensive about the AeroPress?
